“FEELS DECEPTIVE, ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY ONE OF THE WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCES I’VE EVER HAD. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE. My stay at Octave Hotel & Spa JP Nagar was extremely disappointing. The hotel stinks, looks shady and poorly maintained, and feels nothing like what is advertised online. Several staff members appeared drunk or under the influence and behaved irresponsibly, which was very uncomfortable and unacceptable in a hotel setting. Basic professionalism and hospitality were completely missing. The most serious issue was the refund. They delayed returning my money, gave false assurances, and showed no intention of resolving the issue. Their behavior escalated to the point where I had to involve the police due to their misbehavior and refusal to refund. What’s worse is the complete lack of customer support. It has now been 4 weeks, and no one has responded to emails or follow-ups. There is no visible support team, no escalation process, and no accountability. Based on my experience, the way this hotel operates feels deceptive and misleading. The positive Google reviews do not match the reality of the place. “One of the worst hotels ever. Stayed in this hotel for only one night, but had the horror experience. The bathrooms weren't clean, room service is awful(including food room service). Food was very bad and no proper listening skills to the food service staff. I don't recommend this hotel for a stay to visit bangalore.”

“I wish I could give negative rating. I had this hotel booked for a night as part of my south india holiday package by MakeMyTrip. As soon as I reached location the vibe was all negative. When we checked our rooms, we were shocked to see the state. The rooms were not cleaned And bathroom you can't enter. Looking at people roaming around the place didn't feel secure at all. I was travelling with family and kids so decided to not stay at this filthy place. Instead booked another hotel and moved immediately.”

Vinayaka Saptasagar★★★★★Not recommended since the photos which are shown in Google are not the same in actual. And I don't know how Goibibo has given 4 star rating to this hotel. We booked deluxe AC room but the AC was not working, they have mentioned that TV is included but it was not, fan regulator came out of the swith box and for hot water we needed to wait for at least 2 hours since the tap was blocked. The receptionists have zero knowledge of resolving this and in return they insisted us saying 'we can't do anything sir, you can write review in Google, no problem'.

We came for check in at 5.50 am but the staff was so sleepy and did something in system and told at 6am all bookings will be refreshed and our booking was canceled he told but in goibibo it did show our booking still. Since we didn’t have an option we did direct booking and our previous booking gone in air for which no refund was assured. Such a scam. And the room was so dirty, untidy bathroom and really the worst staff. Just the name is fancy rest is so down grade

Anil Kumar★★★★★⭐ 1-Star Review – Octave Hotel (Official Website Booking Experience) I made a reservation through the official Octave Hotel website, but due to a system or website issue, the booking date automatically shifted to the next day. As soon as I realized the mistake, I immediately called the hotel’s customer care, admitted the error, and requested that they allow me to check in on the same day, even if they needed to charge a penalty. However, they completely refused my request. I then asked if I could at least get a refund, but they denied that as well. So in the end, I was given no room and no refund, even though I canceled the booking right away. If I had booked through any authorized travel app or website, I would have definitely received proper support. But booking through the hotel’s own website only resulted in a loss for me. 👉 My genuine advice: Do not book rooms through the Octave Hotel official website. They harass customers and provide no support when an issue occurs.

After checking with the customer care and the front office staff, they denied refund. It also has bar attached to the front desk, Stinks like hell and made very uncomfortable for the family people. Not specified refund policy. Since 3 days they are not responding, so uploading all evidences on the consumer forum and will take necessary action.

Please avoid this hotel. Don't take trouble, even police don't patrol here. Very risky.

Sidhik Asabulla★★★★★I stayed here for two days and was thoroughly disappointed. The bed sheets were old and unchanged throughout my stay, and the room service was practically nonexistent. The toilets were not cleaned properly, and several fixtures, including taps, were malfunctioning. Overall, the hygiene and maintenance standards were far below acceptable levels. This place is definitely not suitable for families, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone. There’s simply no way to justify a positive review based on my experience.

Swati Burji★★★★★If there was a star to represent negative review. I could have opted that. My brother wanted to stay here for a day, and he booked for 1500 per night. The room that the manager gave was so small. He was unable to fit his trollys there. This is the worst hotel to stay in JP nagar.
