We friends group stayed here for a night. Our experience wasn't that good. Food is below average here. Don't buy any extra starters here it's a waste of money. When we reached in the afternoon, lunch was inadequate. We were the only ones staying at the place and still it was not enough food there. When we asked they said it's over. The male staff was showing attitude when we asked for more chapatis. Overall pretty below average experience.

Terrible service. Very un-happy with the experience, service and attitude. It felt like we were in a hostel, there is a basic hospitality and welcomeness which was completely missing. In villa 1 there was no drinking water and the caretaker was telling was to take the water ourselves from the central kitchen. Even while having breakfast we were told to order once and were not willing to take orders for coffee counts when other people were coming in a bit. No room service, not accepting any requests of any kind from the simplest things such as giving water to our villas. This is despite booking two villas (4 bedrooms booked in total fr 2 nights)

Worst I booke through agora paid 10000 rupees for one day on 31 December 2022 . But when I went there they said there is no room booked I showed them the confirmation from agora and Irya resort by email. But the was impolite and started talking in local language badly . I asked him to call tha owner who happens to be a lady she said they have no connection with agoda . I said then give my money back they have received it. Still to receive the money I suggest these people have no manners and employ bad people who uses foul language . I suggest don’t ever think of going there

I don’t know what the good reviews are for. The place is in middle of estate which you can’t enjoy because there’s no connectivity. It’s in middle of nowhere. People are sweet including the property manager- but the property isn’t. The rooms are not maintained at all. In my two day stay, they didn’t clean the room even once, actually the room wasn’t cleaned the day I checked in too. There were no towels, dental kits provided. We had to ask the staff for everything Room was full of cockroaches. There were molasses in the room. Highly don’t recommend this place.

A Wonderful Connection to Nature The location of this resort is absolutely beautiful and is its main strength. It is truly nestled in the forest, offering a wonderful close-to-nature experience. We enjoyed the presence of lovely birds and even the monkeys, which were present but did not disturb our stay. The cottages are aesthetically pleasing, surrounded by lush, well-kept grounds Unfortunately, the natural beauty was entirely overshadowed by a severe lack of basic hospitality, unskilled staff, and maintenance issues that caused significant discomfort. * Prolonged Power Outage/Unskilled Staff: The electricity went off at approximately 2:30 AM during the night. The backup generator was not switched on automatically or by duty staff. We had to call the reception at 6:30 AM to report the issue before the generator was finally started. Being left without power for four hours in the middle of the night demonstrates a fundamental failure in staff training and duty protocols. * Non-Functional Geyser in Cool Climate: In a resort situated in a cool climate, a functioning geyser is essential for comfort. I arrive at the Irya, expect someone to carry the bags to the rooms, no one turns up. Oh sorry, it's a homestay not a resort. At 3.30 pm we plan to leave for a sight seeing, we request for a coffee. Oh sorry, it's a homestay not a resort. Coffee will be served only at 5 pm. It's all in their website. We arrive back at 6.30 pm. We were served with cold bhajjis and coffees. Bhajjis will be served hot only from 5-5.30 pm. Oh forgot, it's a homestay. My friend decides he'll check the dinner timings, finds that dinner will be from 9 pm. So we didn't want to get into any trouble, we were ready by 9 pm for the dinner. But dinner was ready only by 9.20 pm. Oh forgot it's a homestay. We asked for morning coffee, oh yes, we forgot, it's a homestay surrounded by forest. Getting milk is a problem. So coffee will be served only by 9 am. But we still insisted, coffee was served only at 8 am. No, there was no reference of what was their on the website. It says coffee/tea from 6.30 am to 8 am. We head out for sight seeing, we informed the homestay guy at 2.25 pm that we will arrive by 3.15 pm for lunch. No they can't serve food after 3 pm. Oh yes, we forgot it's a homestay not a resort. Stay is very clam and nature itself is indulged in the stay. However, food options is very basic 1/10 and taste is very low. Price is at a 5 star stay but food is lower than a basic 1 star stay. I was informed later due to LPG crisis the food options were less if that was the case they had to charge less instead they charged the actual price and provided just 4 or 5 items. Not always making money should be the priority, should genuinely provide the service the price charged. Disappointed with this!

Disappointed After High Expectations and Not Worth the High Price Point We chose Irya Nature Stay based on all the glowing reviews online, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. To start with the positives: the location is beautiful—nestled in the middle of a coffee estate, it’s peaceful, quiet, and scenic. The property is fairly well maintained, and the cottages and villas were decent, though not spotless, A bit more attention to cleanliness would go a long way. The stay itself had a strong musty, moisture-laden smell, which was quite unpleasant. The bedsheets provided were not clean, and we had to request fresh ones from the staff, which is something you'd expect to be taken care of before check-in. There was no hot water for a bath. With rainy weather, we expected functional geysers and heating systems, especially at this price point. Food was okay and the prices were nominal. There is a common indoor play area as well. On a positive note, the staff were polite and tried their best to help, Ms Gayathri really helped to solve these issues, but overall, the experience felt underwhelming. We came in with high hopes because of the reviews and the price point but

I was pretty excited about visiting this place after seeing the pics and reviews. Here is my take after visiting the place: What I liked: The Ambience The Nature Clean Rooms & Bathrooms The Peace and quiet. (It is really peaceful) The Food was passable. What I did not like: The bed was good but it had plastic sheets - It was impossible to even turn in the bed without the plastic sheet's crackle. Sleep was very uncomfortable. Towels were not fresh, in fact they were smelling. The Glasses for drinking water in the dining area were smelling too. The main thing to do from here is visit all the beautiful scenic places nearby. But while doing that, it is sometimes difficult to get back at the exact time for meals. I wish there was more flexibility to accommodate guests who are a few mins late for the meals, since it is impossible to plan any outing in such a scenic area based on strict meal timings. For that kind of a cost, if we have to choose between visiting places or our meals, it is rough.

The staff, food and place is good. We booked the C-1 room along with plunge pool But the facilities provided at the prices are not worth. 1. Swimming pool was not so clean, a smell of algae was there in the water. 2. Swimming pool is not temperature controlled. 3. Our rooms ceiling fan was not working. Though they provided a standing fan 4. Geyser is not present in the bathrooms, we have to flush out existing water for atleast 5min to get the hot water. Pricing should be reduced if these basic facilities are not fulfilled, else it is good exploring the places. Mullyangiri peak is also nearby. Estate view is also good.

It’s a beautiful property right in the middle of forest. We had a few issues during our stay which were not resolved: 1. There was luke warm water for shower. On repeated follow ups with property manager, they couldn’t provide hot water. 2. Food was okayish. 3. Bed sheets were not changed. We found watermelon seeds on the back side of pillow.
