THIS MESSAGE IS TO THE STUDENTS WHO WANT TO STYDY MBA. WRITTEN BY A SHOCKED PARENT. WE SENT OUR CHILDREN SO FAR ASSUMING THAT THEY WILL HELP OUR CHILDREN TO GET GOOD JOBS, BUT WE FELL FOR THIS AMITY TRAP. They don't have placements. This year's passing out batch has 47 students and only 6 people have been placed for internships. That too in sales and marketing only. The finance, business analysis and HR guys are left to fend for themselves. During recruitment, the Director, the marketing team had promised great great things that their placement is centralised and the students will get an opportunity for placements with other amity university placements. THIS IS NOT TRUE. THIS IS ABSOLUTE LIE. Their placement division is absolutely a useless division. The university was unable to invite any good companies for internships or placements. Just look at Allianz or presidency or IIBS, all their students get placed for internships and they proudly display it on social media. Look at their social media, it has nothing except festival images. I am really ashamed of myself for putting my child there. Please don't fall for their buildings or their sweet talk. Hi. I visited amity university few days back with regards to the admission of my son, the campus is very good and located in the outskirts of bangalore near to Dodballapura and Devanahalli, as my son had a very good score in kcet entrance exam, and easily he will get a government quota seat through KEA which cost me 1 lakh as it is fixed by the government to all the private colleges but to my surprise the amity university admission block person asked me to pay 30,000 per each semester as amity fee along with the government fee and a refundable security deposit of 15,000.. Which is very bad and charging extra amount from students is against the government order. I felt like it is day robbing from deserving meritorious students.. So I suggest all parents and students to be aware of this else you end up fighting with management or else paying extra with no reason.. I also visited nitte Meenakshi Institute of technology and b m s I t college there is nothing like any extra fees apart from the prescribed govt fee.. Good luck for your future.
