Our recent stay at Bandipur Wildlife Resort & Spa was unfortunately a deeply disappointing experience, especially considering its spectacular location amidst the serenity of the Bandipur wilderness. One would expect a resort in such a prime spot to offer a stay that matches the grandeur of its surroundings—but sadly, the reality was far from it.||The room we were provided was in an unacceptable condition. It was neither clean nor maintained. The restroom tap was non-functional, the amenities were far below even basic standards, and there was absolutely no room service available. Essential items like drinking glasses or plates were completely missing from the room, reflecting a serious lapse in guest care and preparedness. The hygiene standards were shockingly poor, leaving us both uncomfortable and frustrated.||It is truly unfortunate that such a beautifully located property is being so poorly managed. With proper upkeep and attention to guest experience, this resort has immense potential—but as it stands, it is a far cry from what it promises or what any guest deserves.

I had booked this resort for 1 day stay on 25th April while booking they had confirmed that they have a veg restaurant attached to the property and food would be served to us in the room /lawn where the music event would be organised in the evening but there was no service, even to get a bottle of water we had to call multiple times and had to wait for 45mins to get water. Swimming pool was not maintained well and it was not in condition for use. Complimentary breakfast is with a coupon which we had to collect from reception and only 2 items per person from Udupi restaurant which is attached to the property, but food is below average with limited choice to choose from. For the amount what is being charged per day is not at all worth , it is more like a lodge rather than a resort.. Please do not opt this resort in bandipur for stay especially for family.

The air conditioning unit made loud, unpleasant noises throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. The toilet’s jet spray was also leaking. Overall, it felt like a complete waste of money. Even an OYO room costing around ₹1,000 would have been a much better option.

We stayed in this so called resort for one night and had horrible experience. 1. Poor management 2. Lack of cleanliness in bathrooms 3. Swimming pool was not clean 4. No staff available around to take care of what we need ,no intercom phone available in rooms 5. No basic things provided in rooms 6. For the price we pay services are not at all satisfactory 7 Spa was closed My advise is don't get fooled by paying so much amount for those fancy pic of resort they put online, please do research and book , this resort is just not the right place to stay

The resort’s pool conditions are substandard. The water is not changed and the pool is closed after 8:30 pm. Additionally, there are no speakers for a DJ or a campfire. A single fire pit is provided for each group in a small area and the guests are not adequately considered.

If there would be 0 review i would have done that also, booked the room around 6 pm reached hotel 12.30 am they took 2.5 k only sleeping at night just for money, no guards no receptionist no one out there to assist, rooms uncleaned very dirty washroom door were not closing properly, no water nothing for a guest. Morning checkout 6 am we did, they calling around 12 Asking how was the stay give review. No one should see the luxury outside in online and go , luxury is comfort and how you treat and welcome the guest. No knowledge about the hospitality, they running hotel only for money

We booked room from 15th jan2026 to 17th jan 2026 2rooms for Rs 14000. In phonecall we fully enquired about room serivce food they said fully we provide breakfast complimentary. They said All facility provided inside resort they said they will provide milk for childrens but that also not true they dint even respond for milk casually saying you should get outside. For complimentary breakfast they are giving the token we should go and eat in nearby udipi hotel, there their service is utter waste and response for customers enquiry is bad, what ever food we ask they say it is not available or it will get delay, but for person who are paying amount they are giving early and they are getting all food items,for hot water we waited for 30mns with 4 childrens, Room service not nice, not tv,no wifi,no intercom, bathroom Sanitaries are fully rusted leakage in toilet basin, While vaccating room we said the complaint in reception for that response came from room serviceboy saying we cant provide tv facility and wifi facility that is your problem.... For that reception lady staff advising room service person to be quite and dont make loose talks, once we ask manager number they are saying he

The hotel did not meet our expectations at all. The room condition was very different from what was shown in the photos. In reality, the room was not clean and hygiene was very poor. Due to this, we decided to cancel the room. However, the hotel staff refused to provide any refund, which was very disappointing. We even requested just 15 minutes to freshen up, but they did not allow that either. Overall, it was a bad experience because of misleading photos, poor cleanliness, and unhelpful staff. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

One of the worst place to be in Bundipur.This is basically not a resort ,it is like a lodge with no restaurant of their own and is pure veg as they are connected to Udupi restaurant. We visited for 1 night and the only thing we liked about the place is the room was spacious and they arranged for a musical program. For breakfast they have no option except for idli,vada,dosa and chow chow bath and tea or coffee is served in disposable glass.We had to collect token from reception and go to the restaurant for breakfast. We just wanted to leave the place as early as possible. The swimming pool is not well maintained and is very dirty. There is no phone available in the room to connect with reception and hence there is no proper room service. If you want to relax and have a good time with family please do not visit this resort. I gave one star for the staff and the programme arranged for the guests.

NOT FOR FAMILY. NOT A RESORT. MISREPRESENTED IN PICTURES. The non-ac rooms are full of moulds and smell. it was like rooms from horror movies. Had booked non-ac room but had no other option but to upgrade to ac room for additional 1000 rupees. Atleast the girl at the reception was kind enough to allow us to select the room as some AC rooms were smelling cigarette. No room service for food. Better to carry your own brush and tooth paste as you won't find any decent shops nearby. It's nowhere close to Bandipura so the name is misrepresenting. The place is kept dirty and not well maintained. Room boy had barged open the door without knocking. Overall not for family and certainly not a resort.

I booked two rooms in this hotel for Rs. 11600/- and it was a very bad experience. The rooms were dirty and they said that there is a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast is not a buffet but they arrange food in a hotel. From there, when we ask for each thing, they refuse to give it to us. I ordered idli vada and there was no vada. They said no roasted vada and there was no vada in roasted vada either. Then I asked for vada and after making payment, there was vada for those who were eating. Otherwise, there is no complete food for the guests of the hotel. Tea is served in disposable glasses. Very bad behavior towards the guests. No one should take a room here and be fooled like me.

Sure, they exist. But for the price, I was expecting at least a touch of comfort or quality. What I got felt more like a budget lodge — maybe worth ₹1,000 if I’m being generous. And the service? Absolutely breathtaking… if you're into disappointment. Need a towel? Just call 10 times and cross your fingers. Maybe you’ll get lucky by bedtime. Honestly, I came for a relaxing wildlife experience and left feeling like I survived an endurance challenge. Do yourself a favor: stay literally anywhere else.
