🅾️Zero rating for The food , the food was the biggest letdown during our stay. The taste was poor, portions were small, and there were hardly any choices. It did not feel worth the price charged. The quality was far below standard and spoiled food was served👎👎👎👎👎 Enjoying food we paid for isn’t a favor—it’s called hospitality. Asking for basic fairness isn’t “intentional discount hunting.” Appreciation during the stay doesn’t mean guests must ignore issues later.

I usually don’t write such reviews, but this experience was too disappointing to stay silent about. During our stay, my cousin brother lost his gold ring. Before returning to the homestay, we had coffee at a nearby café, and the CCTV footage there clearly showed that the ring was still on his finger when we left the café. After reaching our room, he removed the ring and kept it safely inside a box, which was placed inside his bag. The only mistake we made was keeping the bag near the window, which we left slightly open for ventilation. The next morning, the ring was missing. We thoroughly searched the entire room and homestay but found nothing. When we asked the owner to show us the homestay's CCTV footage, he kept making excuses — saying the process was "complicated," only he knew the password, and that it couldn’t be recorded or shared (which is ridiculous because almost every CCTV system allows video recording). To make things worse, the owner was not even present at the property during this time — he was out of station. He said he would send us the CCTV footage after two days. But when we followed up after two days, he avoided our calls and did not give a proper response. Th

We lost our belongings there and the host did not support finding it. If there is no fault on his side, he should share the cctv footage atleast. He is not willing to share the cctv footage too and did not help find our belongings. Dont go to this homestay if you want to be safe. There was no current for one whole night of our stay too, the generator was not working and the complementary breakfast was average. He knocked our doors 4 times in the middle of the night saying silly reasons because of the generator, never minding ladies stayed inside. Had a worst experience here, never go here. Response to the owners comment below: We came as a family, we were a group of cousins. You can see the lies on his reply comment itself. How will a group of cousins with small kids below 18 drink in a homestay. The host is full of lies and he is lying that he showed the cctv too. We checked the cctv in the last shop we drank coffee, the ring was there, we came directly to the homestay after that, how would we have lost it in the falls??? You are cheating us because we did not come with our parents. You are full of lies.

❌ ❌ DO NOT book this bluebell homestay if you value safety, respect, or peace of mind. I had one of the worst experiences of my life here. I was stayed for a short trip n during the night, my gold ring mysteriously went missing while I was sleeping, it was worth around 1 lakh n my cousin cash was missing its was kept in bag about 20k .The owner conveniently disappeared the same night, and till now, has not shared CCTV footage, even after multiple follow-ups. Even worse, he knocked on our room door FOUR times in the middle of the night, giving random reasons like “inverter issues”, and then insisted that I keep the door open. That was extremely uncomfortable and suspicious, especially since it happened just before the ring went missing. Even the current is not there for whole night not even back ups. There is absolutely no staff or help available during night hours. If you’re going with family, partner, or any female guests, this place is NOT safe. No one is there to ask, help, or respond when something goes wrong. The owner was rude n careless over the phone when i asked a cctv footage first he said some excuses when we gone furthern asked again n again He showed the original f

This is all as per my thinking, it's a good place go. My experience, 1. I saw balcony and big one room and booked it but when I went their that room was given to someone else. Miscommunication between booking.com and homestay. 2. Food was very very good, and any time tea coffee. 3. Nature of all the staff was good. 4. Natural beauty, place is in the middle of nature. Black pepper, coffee, banana, tulsi, mint etc plants were their. 5. Their are two floor, both are connected internally even though they have closed person can go. So security wise it was not good as any person from other floor can jump and come to your floor and if you are with family then be careful about that. Owner told that they have cctv at connecting placce. 6. It was cold and claim, awesome weather and breeze. Mainly security and promise of room was the concern. If you are Batchelor no problem, but with family be careful. Near by lakes. 1 hours from mullayanagiri 2 hours from hebbe falls 0.5 hours from yagachi water adventure
