CAUTION: I had planned my trip to Veeru homestay a month back and planned the trip through Goibibo. I decided to stay here because I was getting a good deal online. I was cautious before booking when I saw people posting reviews that the owner would ask guests to vacant any day they find a better guest offering a good price for the room. As expected the owner (Venkatesh) called me as he received someone with better rates and asked me to cancel the booking saying its full. Just imagine if someone goes the same day what a painful trip this will be to Hampi. Please dont consider this option if you are looking for cheap rates.

Terrible experience with this homestay!! We booked 2 rooms through booking.com and received everything related to confirmation like pin, email etc. but when we tried to reach them on the day of booking, they were saying rooms aren't available. We lost almost a day to find another stay just trusting these people and booking.com!!

Horrible experience. Owner has no sense hospitality. Both the brothers are very rude. They show one room and give you another one. After making bookings one month early, now suddenly after one night since the demand increased they asked us to pay double the amount at night or asked us to vacate the house in the middle of the night. We had to go around and look for another homestay in the middle of the night. Horrible experience. Never book from this stay. Mean and money minded stay. Dont trust their words at all.

We make advance booking for 2 days almost a month ago now all of sudden they call us to cancel the booking in the last moment and now they are giving us another option in Hippie Island which is far away from hampi market. Be careful when booking with veeru homestay. Don't blindly believe on the 5 star rating, they change their color like chameleon. Not trustable

I conversed with them for the first floor room and negotiated the price to ₹1200 per night. The first floor room had a balcony. They did not provide me with the first floor room the first day itself as they were better paying customers and even afterwards they did not give me the said room stating it is hampi utsav and the price of the room is more and I need to pay them 500₹ more for it. The elder brother even asked me to vacate the room if I did not want to stay. I am travelling solo and they did not care at all. Unless you are paying more they don't care about what was finalised before.

Horrible owners and place. Not safe for people! They demand extra money after giving the wrong room, and then demand you to vacate immediately! My daughter was asked to vacate in the middle of the night. Don't book from here. They can ask you to leave if they get more money from some other guest for the room even if you book one month back.

Great host , very polite and helpful. Enjoyed the home cooked south indian thali on the roof top. Quantity was too much for the price 😀. They have their own parking which can compensate for 2-3 cars. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is the location of the homestay. It's a bit congested through a street. Rest it was a pleasant stay. Very close to all the visiting points
