We had stayed in this hotel for 4 days while we are going out we had given keys for room cleaning But while we came back and checked there was lot of items got missed from the room and when we asked for cleaning person he was saying he didn't know and there was no proper receptionist in the reception and the greaser, ac won't work properly

We reached the location at 12pm for check in. Room allocated for us having smoking smell and bathrooms were dirty. When we asked to change the room, they told that they can only provide this room. After lot of discussion, they agreed to change the room. Even another room has dirty bathrooms and yellowish bedding. Kitchen had no utensils and stove. Toiletries was provided after we asked them 3 times. You may also not feeling like using the towels provided by hotel just by looking into it. Worst part was behavior of staff and owner himself. Owner was kept saying that you are only one complaining, other guests have no issues. He was very rude and unprofessional. I don't know how this property got a 4+ rating. For me, most of the positive reviews are either paid or by staff themselves. Location is ok, bit far from main town. You can park your vehicle at street, there is enough space. Centralized Hot water is there. During peak time(morning till afternoon), hot there will not be there as usage is more this time.

Original comment :- Dirty beddings, Dirty toilets and worst staff and rude owner. We directly booked this property after looking at MMT and Google reviews. We paid 50% advance at the time of booking and owner asked us to pay remaining amount at the time of check-in. We were travelling from Udupi to chikmangluru so reached at their property around 11:45 Am. We asked the property boy for restrooms and he told us to use washroom of one room. We found it quite dirty so didn't use the washroom and waited for my husband to complete the checkin formalities. Then the receptionist told us to use the same room that they asked to use for washroom but since it was very dirty and bedsheets and pillow were very dirty so we told them that we can't take this room and he told us that this the only room left. At same time I was discussing with my cousin that rooms are not as per description so I will give true feedback on Google and that boy heard it and started showing us other rooms but all rooms were same. Dirty toilets and dirty bedsheets with no toiletries, no towel, no water bottle and no ventilation system in the washroom. Washroom glass was also bit translucent so if you will come near to d

SCAM ALERT We had a terrible experience staying at iPalace for 2 nights. We paid extra(1250 RS) to include breakfast in the booking. They don’t really have restaurant in this hotel, they just bring from outside. And they just bring whatever is available not what we asked for. Food is wrapped in a news paper and plastic cover. There are no plates as well. We had to request extra plates and it was very uncomfortable. Now coming to the main issue, we stayed for 2 nights and the guy in reception said , they provide breakfast only for 1 night, then I explained, he called his manager and after discussing he agreed to provide breakfast. I prepaid the money for food, it’s not complimentary. I don’t know why I had to talk a lot to get my food. The thing that made me furious was that they DENIED breakfast for my 2 year old son, as we booked for 2 people only despite the fact that I selected 2 adults and 1 kid option. These people are looting tourists, absolute scammers. Please don’t go here.

So this review is in reply to the owner's comment on my original review by the same name....Mr. Jagdeesh Its not a fake review but it is a blunt review which would have paved the path for corrective actions but instead it seems that you are okay with what ever service you provide and with your statement " We don't want to host you" tells clearly that if any customer has problem with your service you want them not to come to your property....very well it help other customers to keep themselve informed before booking your porperty. Yes I have not taken your calls and that's I very clearly texted you my problems....or is it that you also want all your customer who gives you honest reviews to keep themselves free for your call???? As concluded by you with my message, let me also bring this to light that when customers write reviews pointing your service issue...first you vehemently deny it and then when you ran out of option you try to over power your customer by telling that "wanted to discussed before going out on public" as if your are trying to threaten them for writing blunt review and ofcourse I am posting the actual screen shot of our conversation as you might again deny to t

I think, it's nothing like Chikmagalur. You feel like you shifted in service apartment where lots of houses nearby. You see the balcony/tarrece of next house touching the wall. No privacy. In simple word, this was my worst experience till date in any hotels/hostel/ home stay.

We went to chikmanglur from April 2nd till April 5 th. Hotel neatness was not good. Room cleanliness service is also not at all near. Bed wraps has all stains. AC was not at all working. If geyser is on AC does not work, and in the morning if AC is on geyser hot water would not work. All the rooms condition was not good. Some rooms might be ok but some are too worst. If you are going with kids would not recommend to stay here.
