It's one of the oldest Horticulture College in Karnataka. It offers both bachelor's as well as master's degree in horticulture. The campus is located in between the greenery of Malnad on a small hilltop giving a picturesque look from main road. The buildings are good with separate buildings for library and external examinations. The main building consists lecture halls, laboratories, administrative office and dean office. In front of the main college buildings there's a beautiful rock garden, lawn and open auditorium. The college also has got separate hostel facility for both boys and girls. Overall good campus for the students enthusiastic to learn horticulture degree.
