The entrance view of the resort is truly beautiful and gives a warm, village-style feel. Unfortunately, beyond that first impression, our stay was quite disappointing. The swimming pool is very deep and not suitable for children or non-swimmers. There was no lifeguard, no security, no pool towels, no poolside bathroom or shower, which made the experience unsafe and uncomfortable. Cleanliness and hygiene were major concerns — there were spider webs everywhere, even around the kitchen, which was very unhygienic. The food was not tasty, and though we liked the fruit cake in the dessert section, when we asked for more, we were told it was over. Later, we saw it being refilled with just a piece or two. The serving plates and soup bowls were of poor quality, adding to the disappointment. In the room, several switches didn’t work, and there were no toothbrushes provided. Only one room key was given, and when it was accidentally left inside, the staff didn’t have a duplicate or master key — they had to climb through the window using a ladder from the ground floor to open it. For a resort charging ₹15,000 per night, this was shocking and unprofessional. There was also continuous drillin

12,000 per day and it’s utter wothless. Rooms stink , Ac takes show 6 hours to show some effect . Swimming pool water was so dirty . Worst part is the food and the hospitality . Even in rain , a visitor was not allowed inside. Very embarrassing . Very unprofessional. Not even worth 2 star .

I visited this place for dinner. It was one of the worst decision of my last Hassan trip. 1. Rs.1200 for buffet dinner. 2. Tikka made of stale paneer. On saying that the person managing there also accepted of the problem. Paying such price for stale food is not acceprable. 3. Some vegetable pakoda which was part of buffet dinner was also spoilt. 4. We changed changed our plan from buffet to alakarta, but each and every item in the menu was primium cost range. Cost is acceptable as long as taste is good. But the food taste was pretty average. 5. Super dark parking area.scary. 6. The live singing, grilled chicken salad were the only things, I liked there. 7. If you are okay with less light, may enjoy the ambience.

Not how its advertised or claimed. There are a few untrained staff with cheap behaviour.if you dont want your mood and entire experience spoiled because of few third class service staffs please skip this resort. No wifi or mobile network either Had booked 2 rooms for 2 days with peak tariff - had an okay stay for 2 days but the reception caused unnecessary drama during checkout with fake bill of additional food items (halwa + jamun) which we didnt order & we dont even like these things. We let it slide as many restaurants try to cheat customers like this. But then came the real drama, when we asked them to correct it - they asked for CCTV footage. As someone who gave more than this amount in tip, this was extremely offensive and third class level - cheap. I challenged them that if CCTV doesnt get them the evidence of us stealing some gulab jamuns - they will have to compensate for both the insult as well as false allegations and fake unsigned bill. There were two bills - one signed by us which was correct and one which was fake and not even signed by anyone ! Although they apologised and corrected their mistake once challenged, i never expected such inexperienced and cheap behavi

We paused here on our way back to Bangalore for lunch !. Got deluded by the name, ambience and initial greeting! … Service is too slow, Food is pathetic , hygiene is poor … They took more than an hour to serve soup, starter and simple Roti dal for 4 of us … all the items were not at all good and also cutlerys were unclean … looks like they are understaffed … if you are looking for good food with quick friendly service better not to try here

Today, I had a very poor experience with the chicken biryani. In front of the staff, I refused to eat it as it was clearly not fresh. It appeared to be plain pulao mixed with chicken, not authentic biryani. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Been there for dine in and had the worst experience. Before all the alteration was done, there was so much calm and privacy in the dining area (outdoor on the lawn) .Now it’s all noisy from the neighbouring tables! Not a decent crowd. Kids screaming , kicking a big frog, not knowing how to behave and disturbing nature. parents don’t even attend their children and teach discipline and staff just enjoy looking at the show. Food was the worst. Other than dine in all areas ambience is quite good. But I still prefer the older version of Hoysala village resort . That had more charm and calm. Service was too late because they want to give priority to customers who stayed. Lot of pressure to fill the platinum card form, asking if you have a card n no times , not the resort that I enjoyed from my childhood . Standard is gone and the charm is lost ! Would definitely not visit again. Now it’s more of a business version than the cozy calm older version!

We visited *Hoysala Village Resort* for lunch on *March 2nd*, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. Despite having a pre-booking, we encountered multiple issues that completely ruined our dining experience. #### Service Issues: - *Long Wait Time:* Even with a reservation, we had to wait *30 minutes* for a table, and it was only assigned after repeatedly asking the staff. - *Delayed Order Taking:* After finally being seated, it took another *15 minutes* before anyone came to take our order. - *Menu Restrictions:* When we placed our order, we were abruptly informed that after *4 PM*, they do not serve North Indian dishes. After much insistence, they reluctantly agreed to take our order. #### Food Quality: - *Paneer Ghee Roast:* Paneer was rubbery, lacked seasoning, and had no ghee flavor whatsoever. - *Malnad Akki Rotti:* Extremely hard, whereas it should ideally be soft and buttery. - *Malnad Curries (Avarebele, Potato Gassi, Yengai):* The masala was raw and undercooked, with all curries tasting almost identical. - *Buttermilk:* Completely sour and undrinkable. - *Crispy Corn:* Served at the very end, long after we had fini

Food is not good at all and the whole resort looks so cramped and conjusted. Rooms don't have a balcony or open sit out. It's like you are put inside some asylum. Not worth.

Food was outdated. Vegetables used were not fresh and smelly due to ripened and old stock.

Came here for lunch with family. Beautiful place. Took 45 mins to serve roti and curry. The roti was burnt, we still ate coz we couldn't wait longer. We were given complimentary chapatis. Ordered lemon chicken, was just fried chicken sauted with oil turmeric and chicken, dint taste one bit like lemon chicken. Soo disappointing for coming from such long distance. Quality of food absolutely not worth for the price. They acknowledge and gave us a discount, but i really wish you improve the quality of food and service time. That would be much appreciable rather than the discount.
