Madan v★★★★★Truly a heritage home in midst of coffee plantation. Palatial Home with spacious rooms. Good food - breakfast and dinner included in the pricing. Only con- The rooms only have fans which would work most months during the year. However we visited in summer and AC would have added that comfort while sleeping.

sapthami P V★★★★★The place is great. The antique home feeling. My sister's wedding was held at this place. All went well. EXCEPT for the rooms. NO AC in any rooms at this resort! The rooms are big, fans are not enough to beat the Summer heat. We requested for the extra stand fans and were arranged.

jincess★★★★★A gorgeous 250 year old home lovingly and painstakingly restored for all modern comforts. Food is great - always a generous spread and mouthwatering. Breakfast and dinner is included. Great service with friendly staff. Wonderful location - far enough away to feel secluded, yet you can get to the town in 16- 20 min

Sunshine66721971142★★★★★This 240-year-old heritage homestay is exceptionally well maintained and has a beautiful aesthetic that preserves its traditional charm while offering all modern comforts. The property feels spacious and thoughtfully designed, with a large play area, a generous bar counter, a clean and inviting swimming pool, and a well-laid-out campfire space that is perfect for groups and families. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and well maintained, and the huge common area provides plenty of space for guests to relax, unwind, and spend time together. There is an impressive variety of food, and the quality of every meal was excellent, making our overall stay even more enjoyable.Meghana and her team offered truly professional and warm service throughout our stay. They were attentive and helpful whenever needed, yet always ensured that guests had complete privacy, which created a very comfortable and relaxed experience.Another big advantage of this homestay is its location. It is not far from the city, and with a short drive you can access anything you need, including shops and other conveniences. Having a hospital about 15 minutes away also adds a sense of security for families and larger grou

ABINAYA BOOPALAN★★★★★It was awesome stay here. Every part of the house has antique furniture and something from past and heritage. The staff were very cordial. It was nice to wake up to peacock noises every morning. You can go for a nice relaxing walk within the coffee estate. The rooms are very spacious. Appreciate the RO filters instead of using plastic bottles They also rent out the buildings for wedding or events.

Mrinalini Choudhury★★★★★My stay at Aralaguppe Heritage Home was a peaceful retreat into history and nature. The traditional architecture, warm hospitality, and the tranquil village setting created a truly memorable experience. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to slow down and reconnect with the roots of Karnataka’s rich heritage. Highly recommended for lovers of culture and quiet.

Mirjam Dijkxhoorn★★★★★This place is excellent! Pro: Beautiful property, renovated just a few years ago, but it maintains all the old world charm. The two rooms upstairs share a balcony, so it is convenient for people who know each other. Each room upstairs has an en-suite kind of room with an extra twin bed. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious Waking up to the beautiful coffee plantation view and animal sounds is wonderful. Game room is convenient for rainy days. Cons: Beyond breakfast, dinner and snacks around 6/6.30 pm, there is no food or drinks available. Come prepared WiFi & phone signal are spotty, so don’t plan to attend any meetings or do work that requires continuous WiFi. Sometimes it is nice to disconnect though! This location comes highly recommended!

Sujai Kumar★★★★★One of the best Home stays in Chikmagalur. We found this place by chance but ended up as sweet surprise. We were a family of 4 stayed here over a weekend. I was told this is an old palace built about 200+ years ago. The property is well maintained. The rooms are spacious and open to the courtyard. They have added a touch of modernity with a right sized swimming pool. Best place to hangout with Family or friends. Food and service were immaculate, very tasty and homely food they serve you some local delicacies. Kudos to the cook and staff. I spoke to the owner and she was very accommodating and thoughtful and arranged everything to our liking. A must visit to enjoy the royal stay, ambience and food.
