“The lawn outside the sunrise rooms is supposed to be exclusive for the occupants of the sunrise rooms, but there is no check to ensure that. In the morning at the sunrise time, non occupants would barge in and create rukus, but there is no support from the the Hotel management to ensure this doesn't happen. Only after multiple calls did they help but it was too late by that time and the sunrise was complete. It is better to go with non sunrise rooms since there is no point of paying double the amount for no benefit. The rooms were infested with cockroaches and pests. They will be all over the room and within minutes be running over any eatables kept unattended in the room. There are lot of monkeys, since there is a restaurant on the top of the rooms and people offer food to monkeys through the restaurants including the restaurant workers. Some of that food drops in the lawn which drives the monkeys to the lawn as well. Food is mediocre, service is slow, and hygiene is severely lacking.”

Shashidhar G★★★★★Rooms are not maintained well for the price we are paying.. also the sunrise view rooms does not have balcony like mentioned in some other reviews. May be better to book Gandhi Nilaya rooms as they are recently built and might be in better condition And yes be careful of monkeys

The property is tucked into a beautiful, almost heritage-like garden with forest surroundings, which gives it a calm and slightly nostalgic feel you don’t get in typical stays. The structure itself is quite simple, but the interiors are done well and feel worth the price. It has that old-school charm you’d expect from a KSTDC property—nothing overly fancy, but warm and comfortable in its own way. One thing to note is that the location gets quite dark and feels a bit isolated at night. That said, the staff presence makes a big difference—they’re available and responsive even late at night. A special mention to the staff member assigned to us, who was extremely helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. Overall, a good pick if you’re looking for a quiet, nature-filled stay with a touch of nostalgia and dependable service.

Since only the booked people can use this space, it's very relaxing and free to enjoy the sunrise 7. Enjoy the small Mysore sandal soaps, shaving cream and toothpaste/brush Cons - 1. No WiFi, no proper network for phone 2. A lot of moneys around! 3. Lil expensive

They even gave dental kits, shaving kits, mini working fridge and few gels like a good private hotels. Never expected from Mayura. Morning you get a nice view and place is private to guests only. They don’t allow other tourists crowd here. Food wise ok not bad not good. Breakfast will be good but lunch and dinner don’t expect much. The restaurant is common all visitors.

I stayed in sunrise facing rooms and early morning view is a bliss.. though monkeys all around is a bit of a concern.. but the cleanliness maintained in rooms and restaurant is next level.. I stayed in mid summer here but evening and early morning felt like winter.. look forward to experience monsoon from this place soon 🤩
