Booked this place in Oct 2017 by booking.com. Paid in full Nov 2017. Left home for trip in India 12th Dec. Samrudi cancelled our booking over Christmas period due to overbooking they said. No sign of them sending money back even though booking.com and myself tried to make contact on several occasions. I also said we were in India. Okay whilst in Hampi(at another hotel) went and found him with a local guide and a Tuk Tuk driver. He prob did us a favour as it was nothing like the description. It was scruffy and dirty and stuck in the middle of a very stuffy area even by India standard.

we stayed here for 4 nights as a family of 4.||since every guesthouse in Hampi Bizarre has now been closed down this is the hotel closest to the ruins. The owner Ramu is a very friendly host. he is a local spokesman for his local people and works to develop the interest and culture of Nomad Indian people. He has interesting stories to tell and would often sit with us a chat while we had dinner.||He is very engaging and I felt he was a man with incredible integrity ( he let our daughter add up the bill and tell him how much it was, he also provided a dinner for all of us one night at his cost). One of the best hosts we had in India.||He deliberately keeps the guest house small (4 rooms) as it is really a side business for him and getting too big this close to the ruins could put pressure on him to close down too. The accommodation is basic but set in his bush garden so feels very relaxed and away from everything. Food was also very good and we had all our meals here.||There were mosquitos, but the rooms were clean (but basic).||Apart from the friendly homestay feel and the small number of guests, the price (we put 4 in the room with one on a mattress on the floor and it was $A50 a

We pre booked this Homestay based on reviews. Once we arrived we realized it was quite primitive, not very clean, beds very hard and not as accessible to the sites in Hampi as the reviews had led us to believe. There were a lot of flies and mosquitoes: it felt depressing. The food was quite good, but again the dishes and cutlery were not very clean.||There are few places to,stay in Hampi at the moment, as the government has closed down many of the Homestays. We would have moved if we could have found other accommodation.||What was perhaps most disappointing was the fact that the owners were not forthright about 'extra' charges. For example, although breakfast was included, we learned after the fact that we would have to pay, because we did not choose an Indian breakfast. Also, the tuktuk they arranged for the day, ended up costing close to 50% more than we initially agreed on. We were not given access to their 'accounting', and truthfully we were so eager to leave that we paid up what felt like an exorbitant amount rather than engage in a conflict.

Excellent location with a lovely terrace for enjoying a beer. Delicious pizzas. | A rat kept us company in the room all night. Extremely hard beds. Bathroom with hot water only in a small pitcher. Limited Wi-Fi. | Also, when we arrived they didn't accept our Booking.com reservations, but we stayed anyway. The price was the same, but breakfast wasn't included.

Mr. Ramu is an ambitious entrepreneur who has built this homestay recently. The homestay is located in a small farmhouse and hence surrounded by trees, greenery and chirping birds. The rooms are decent. Bicycles are available for rent. Bikes are scooters were also got arranged based on our request. The food was amazing and the menu was as per our wishes. Camp fire was lit in the night which was very thoughtful and courteous of them. Overall, its a pleasant stay.

Located in close proximity of heritage city of Hampi, this is one of the coolest and best home stays you can find near Hampi. Great Hosts and authentic cuisine make the resort a must stay place for all visiting Hampi.

It is one of the best homestay experiences I've had. The place is abundant in greenery and has very kind and humble hosts who serve excellent home made food. There's a small tank too where you can unwind. A very relaxing experience which left us completely rejuvenated! Totally recommend it!

Ramu and his family manages the place who are extremely hospitable and genuinely caring. Rooms on the upper floor are more aesthetic. If you're traveling with a pet, the ground floor room will be more private and comfortable. The homemade food is delicious. Ramu is well connected in the community. He can arrange local sightseeing trips and any help we need on the ground. We had a great time and are surely going back.

Samrudhi home stay is one of the best places for tourists looking for homely experience. The owners - Mrs. Kavita and Mr. Ramu are very warm and friendly. Though it's not located in proper Hampi, it's very close to the ruins, and is surrounded by banana fields. This homestay is also budget friendly for students!!

It is very good and awesome place to stay. Near by to hampi fort, rooms were built by bamboos, well maintained and the place is covered with trees which will make you feel relax in that hot climate. The owner Ramu is very nice person and safety is very much concerned. The cost is also not expensive it’s very much affordable. If you want fire camp it is also available there. Food is delicious, Overall it is awesome place to stay with family, friends.
