Zolo Hoodi Tower is one of the worst PGs in Bengaluru. The staff’s behavior is pathetic and unprofessional. Despite giving a full one-month notice, they illegally withheld my security deposit, clearly designed to steal money under the guise of a “lock-in period.” Cleanliness is nonexistent—rooms are as dirty as public toilets, with a constant foul smell throughout the PG. Basic amenities are a joke: no hot water, frequent Wi-Fi/internet issues, and six washing machines shown for namesake—none of them work. Customer support is completely robotic and unhelpful, offering scripted responses without resolving anything. I lost over ₹10,000 even after following the notice period rules. Worst decision of 2025 was choosing Zolo. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your money, hygiene, and peace of mind.

I have been staying at this PG and honestly, it has been a very disappointing experience. I want to highlight the issues I’ve been facing so others are aware before choosing this place: * Hot water not available – despite repeated complaints, my room has no hot water facility. * Washing machines in poor condition – out of 6 machines, only 1–2 are functional at any time, making it extremely difficult for residents. * Unhygienic rooms – when I moved in, the room was not clean at all. The overall cleanliness standards are far below expectations. * Bad odor throughout the PG – the premises constantly smell unpleasant, which makes living here uncomfortable. * Poor internet service – the WiFi speed is unreliable and insufficient for basic use, let alone work or study. * Rude customer support – instead of resolving issues, the support staff are dismissive and unhelpful. * Lock-in trap – even if you’re dissatisfied, you cannot leave during the lock-in period without losing your entire security deposit. This PG feels like it only cares about locking in tenants rather than providing a livable experience. I regret choosing this place, and I would strongly advise others to think twice before

The only good thing about this place is that it's comparitively cheap. Issues takes multiple weeks (sometimes months) to get resolved. I had issue with slow waterflow and they mentioned an engineer has been assigned but he visited 2 weeks after I created the ticket, that too very late at night then he just made a video of the issue and left. They don't value time of residents and even when you clearly mention your distress, they still proceed to ignore it. Apart from the slow and bad ticket resolution, the rooms don't have a balcony. It doesn't even have a proper window for ventilation. As of now (December 2025), even the drinking water is not clean and tastes like tap water. If you boil the drinking water they provide you can clearly see the water is not filtered properly. Zolo Staff behaviour is good, but if you open a ticket for some issue don't even expect a hassle free or fast resolution because they don't even care about your needs.

Honest Review – Zolo Hoodi Tower (Stayed from 4th January 2025 to 1st November 2025) I stayed at Zolo Hoodi Tower for nearly 10 months, and based on my experience, I would strongly advise against staying here. Below are the major reasons why I decided to move out: 1. Location & Surroundings: The property is situated in what is essentially a slum area — narrow, damaged roads, garbage piled up everywhere, and very few good food or convenience options nearby. It’s also right next to a busy main road, making it unsafe and unpleasant to even go for a simple walk due to constant traffic. 2. Water Issues: The building relies entirely on water tankers instead of a proper pipeline. On many mornings, there’s no water available at all. The rooftop storage tanks frequently leak or break, leading to hours without supply. The water quality is also extremely poor — often appearing white and containing visible small stones. It’s unsafe for washing utensils or even for basic use. 3. Safety Concerns: Although the entrance has a fingerprint lock, the main door is almost always kept open for delivery personnel because the front desk representative (Shekhar) is rarely present. Worst stay, won’t recommend anyone coming here. Forget the amenities, you won’t even get electricity at times and room was never cleaned a single day during my stay. Will recommend anyone coming here to find better options available at similar price. The PG is not good. I don't know why they are charging too high for the rooms. The property manager is not helpful at all in case of issues. Hot water never comes. Water is brought via tankers and many times the water is not coming or the flow is very slow. The terrace has a good vibe. Construction going on both sides of the building, so a lot of noise. When exiting this property, zolo charged me Rs 1800 for the last month electricity, which is unbelievable and deducted from my deposit. They never take the meter readings from your room. They saw that I'm leaving and charged me 180 units of electricity. There are 250 extra charges for water tankers as well every month. I wouldn't recommend this property. Also, don't believe other fake 5* reviews for this property.

Terrible Stay, Avoid at All Costs I stayed here from June to November 2023 and had a truly awful experience. The main manager, Chandu, and his relative who helps run the place have terrible attitudes and are extremely rude. They clearly don't care about your concerns. The facilities are in terrible condition. The rooms are cramped, poorly ventilated, and dirty. The washrooms are pathetic. The Wi-Fi is painfully slow. The kitchen is tiny and there's always a long wait in case you want to prepare your own food. The atmosphere feels uncomfortable. The surrounding area also feels unsafe. Most of the positive reviews are from the staff themselves. Please avoid this place at all costs.

DONT EVER STAY AT THIS PLACE. Pros: 1. The staff is nice Cons: 1. Rooms are very small 2. There is no ventilation in rooms 3. The washrooms are pathetic. Even the new washrooms are not functioning properly. There are no shower heads in the washroom. 4. The pg area is terrible for staying. 5. Wifi is terrible. Your 2012 2g internet would work better All the current positive reviews are from staff only. I stayed at this place as it was my first time in bangalore and had no idea about the areas and stuff. I just booked it online on their app and by that time even the pictures were not available. The pictures provided by them are of new room but mostly the building is renovated. Its old name was “Zolo Sentient”. I had single sharing room with 15.2k rent. They also include GST and electricity rounding off to almost 17.5k and that is just rent, food is not included. You can get a much better pg at much better place for the same price or even lesser price Make your choice wisely. All the best!
