“I had a very bad experience at Mayura Hotel. I ordered the South Indian thali, and the food was the worst. The curd was not good, and in fact, nothing in the thali tasted good. Even the uli (gravy) was not prepared well. When I complained to the bill counter staff, he responded very rudely and said, “We prepare the food like this only. What will you do? Go like that.” They were not willing to accept the complaint at all. They also did not serve the food on time. They kept saying there were many people, but the crowd was actually very less. Please don’t go there. I strongly advise people to avoid this place due to poor food quality and bad customer service.”

“We ordered a kulcha and mushroom kadai and waited for almost an hour, but our order still hadn’t arrived. We asked the waiter multiple times, and he kept promising it would be ready in another 10 minutes. After waiting for nearly an hour, I told the waiter to cancel the order as we no longer wanted it, and he agreed. My suggestion is that if you're planning to place an order, it's better to go self-service. However, if you choose the service hall, expect extremely slow service. This experience was very disappointing, and I will not be returning to this hotel again.”

All we ordered was a Thali, a set lunch plate, with an assortments of curries and rice. The food came fast, but the most important ingredient -- rice never came ! We waited, waited and 10+ minutes, the service staff was good but the management was bad...the father and son were busy counting money at the cashier station and happily received our money...!

The staff are pretty considerate and helpful but the order management system needs to be definitely improved. I had ordered dinner on Sundays and it took them half an hour for serving the foods only after raising the complaints to the staff. PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS AND DURING RUSH HOURS.
