Please filter the ratings to lowest and check for genuine reviews, I too have the same worst experience from this makeup artist, she simply says 28 years in the field in all replies, she n her staff carries same attitude ,makeup artist n her gang will start judging evryone ...your jewels...saree...face...skin...hair , attire evrything n accordingly they start behaving ,show interest accordingly, they somehow manage old/famous customers , but their work remains in the past era ,Now also I regret booking here ...as everyone has reviewed, all cakey, negligent makeup, no worth for money, time. She already has everything n just ruins ours. DO NOT EVER BOOK HERE .

I got simple makeover done from them. I particularly told them I want it to be natural but her assistance did not do it properly it was full cakey and my make up was also uneven they also charge a lot of money which is not worth it was really worst experience.

I had booked makeup services for my wedding from Kavana. She came along with another makeup artist. They did not do the makeup properly and their behavior was very unprofessional. They were eating from the food kept near us without even asking, which I was still okay with. But what upset me the most was that they were careless and kept talking to each other even when the muhurta time was running, instead of getting me ready on time. I was very angry and I will never book Kavana again, nor will I recommend her to anyone.

I recently had got done non bridal makeover for my house warming ceremony from them it was really a my worst experience.they didn’t even have my skin tone foundation shade so her senior staff asked Kavana so she told to mix some shade and create the look which did not even suit my skin tone I was totally upset.the makeup became too bright,patchy and cakey.when clients come to you with so much trust and u do such things which totally not right.

worst haircut Ever seen, Worst service.they don't even know how to cut hair simply They experimenting on people and asking money for that. and haircut is excluding of head wash.they are asking 500 extra only for Head wash. and some random girl will come and do cutting🤷🏻‍♀️ Don't even think of going to that Worst parlour.

The wax was very hot, despite me telling the madam that it is hot, she replied saying that she has reduced the temperature and continued to apply the very hot wax, she didn't even wax all of my arm hair, several places remained unwaxed, when asked, she said that some hair will always be remaining.

Got done pedicure, The tub is dirty, inspite of requesting to clean, they argue it's clean. The water wasn't filled to cover the foot, just half foot soak. There are many other make up artists out there in Shimoga who does best and give flawless look with great interest, dedication. But Butic makeup artist does mostly the cakey makeup without following basic steps or skin prep anything ,negligently rubs some creams on face ,she does HD ,mac ,simple makeup everything in a same way by applying same creams thinking people are dumb,she might give importance to some old customers /favoured ones ,always in hurry for no reason. Parlour/services are also not upgraded and they think they are above the world , struggling to handle bunch of customers with unprofessional staff. It might be famous/good way back in 90s but not now anymore.

Not sure on what basis and ethics they are still running this parlour. Worst customer service. They dont know how to talk to the customers. They all act like VIPs. They charge hell lot of money for cheapest services ever. They dont assign proper beautician and there are full of Aunty’s who is working from very long time and they all act superior. Vatara auntys they are jealous of each other. I rarely like service from one lady Lakshmi and I asked same person when I went next time and they all started saying ‘avrge lakshmi ne bek anthe’ in a jealously way such stupid people either u learn from your mistakes and learn how to treat customer else let them take service from whom they want. Please upgrade your parlour with latest people who is aware of beautician course else please close it. Worst service ever

Kavana just replying thank you to positive comments doesn't makes any sense. I have to share my own experience wid this arrogant makeup artist who made me very on my wedding day. I paid 30 thousand to her (including my relatives makeup+5000 advance payment for booking)+ extra 1000 for her trave expenses which was hardly 30kms from shimoga+ 1000 for 2nd saree draping. I mean der is limit for looting people. She is not at all professional ohh god I requested her to be in hall at 7.30 in the morning. But araamse she arrived at 9.30 and ruined my day, groom side people arrived at 10.00. I could do nothing abt it the worst ever makeup artist ever seen in my life. I curse her till today for spoilng my big day. It happened in 2021. Am still in shimoga but never visited her parlour for any services. She just has bunch of old aunty's gang who has no knowledge of upgraded makeup still they are in 1995 era. Everytime I commented she will delete it so that others should not see her true colours. Billing issue: The overall bill was 1810 but they charged me 2980rs later I asked them how this could be possible check properly ,later she said "ohh sorry by mistake calculation is done wrong".Please I request people who visit here check the total bill and calculate it first. They charge so much for HD, Mac makeup. But they don't use those products. My makeup was a disaster on my wedding day. I felt like crying on my wedding day cause it looked horrible. For reception also they did not straighten my hair properly which looked wiered on the stage. They don't do as you tell them to do. Very misleading money minded people they are. No genuine products usage. Whatever they show in Instagram is the filtered pictures. They use good products to only those who are friends with them and talk closely with them. If they get to know that you know nothing about makeup and it's products, they will loot you. Worst experience ever.

Worst services for the amount they charge for the customers. Staffs are not careful while handling our skin and hair. They won’t apologise for their mistakes and are very rude at the end. I’d recommend this place to shutdown and stop looting people.
