Bad experience..Pinxx buffet service where food was also not so good had told would give 10 offer % on prior booking and then didn't provide us with discount. When asked about it replied that they forgot to give. When asked to refund they tried to escape saying would give extra discount on our next visit.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my recent stay at this hotel was far below expectations. From the moment I arrived, the service was disorganized and unhelpful. Check-in took much longer than it should have, and the staff seemed indifferent to guests waiting in line. Throughout my stay, requests for basic things like clean towels and room cleaning were either delayed or ignored. When I tried to speak to the front desk, the staff appeared uninterested and offered no apology or solution. The level of customer care was very disappointing. While the location of the hotel was convenient, the lack of professionalism and poor service overshadowed everything else. I expected a much higher standard for the price I paid. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until they make serious improvements in staff training and guest relations.

Rooms have cheap quality big glass water bottles. Quality of water is doubtful. Bottle slips of table and shatters and suddenly it's very dangerous. Smoking room has no ash tray. Biryani rice uncooked. Regret staying at the place

The restaurant section where buffet was served was full of Chaos , running with just 2 staff who were struggling to manage the crowd. Buffet spread was very average nothing great for the price they charge. They were not ready to serve ala carte even though we enquired before visiting. They promised 10% off but never gave it. Receptionist was clueless about which restaurants were open and kept on giving wrong information. Overall not a good experience wrt their restauarant service. Do not recomment their buffet at any cost Its highly priced and not worth the money for the basic spread. Also did not find it convenient to go with family on a weekend. Better to avoid buffet.

The food was absolutely pathetic and very disappointing. Chicken was undercooked and quantity was very less for the price we paid . Only good thing about this place was the rooms, which were comfortable and well maintained. Unfortunately, the food experience ruined the overall stay.

In room dining- ordered for friend papad and to my service I found papad with plastic stick cover was fried by the royal orchid shimoga kitchen team. this is so dangerous hapazhard which can impact. I am posting this with such displeasure as your team kitchen have violated quality check and serving food to customer which can potentially impact.customers be careful and examine your food before you consume. Clean rooms and a good location, but the service carries a very small-town, hostel-warden mindset. At check-in I was told that visitors aren’t allowed in the room, which defeats the point of choosing a proper hotel over a hostel or budget stay. When we book a good hotel, it’s for the comfort of hosting a friend or a guest over tea or snacks for a few moments when you are getting ready to leave for a function and enjoying a 'home away from home' experience. Unfortunately, the manager here seems to have brought rules from his previous stint running a hostel rather than a hotel.

Hopeless service..please be very careful before booking here... Never seen such hopeless service anywhere in India... Never expected it to be so bad.. first of all had a very bad experience at the restaurant where food was not served even after 1 hour of ordering and they acted like they were clueless of what we had ordered then we called the reception 3 times to get just a bucket and mug and even after repeatedly asking no one even cared to provide it ... There are no hand showers also in the bathrooms.. pathetic pathetic pathetic

There is nothing good about this hotel except the location and cleanliness. Staff service was not good they were not even willing to provide baby food and charged for it.Booking charge is very high as compared to the service they offer. No swimming pool,not even play area or garden for kids to play.not recommended for anyone who values money with service received.

Extremely Disappointed – Worst Experience Ever at Royal Orchid! We came expecting unlimited food and a great IPL final screening (RCB vs Punjab) as promised, but got nothing but mismanagement and disrespect. No seating was arranged, not a single proper dish was served, and the staff—especially someone named Vikas—was rude and completely unprofessional. We were ignored the entire time, and the place was a complete mess. Total false promises, zero hospitality. We were a group of friends ready to enjoy the evening, but Royal Orchid turned it into a disaster. We had to leave and find another place last minute. Never coming back. Not recommended at all

Disappointing experience at Royal Orchid Hotel during our IPL event visit. Despite booking reserved seats with promised unlimited food, the arrangements weren't in place. When we reached out to staff member Vikas, he treated us poorly. The lack of customer care and unprofessional behavior ruined the occasion, and we ended up leaving without enjoying the event. It's essential for the hotel to train its employees in customer service etiquette to avoid such negative experiences in the future.

⭐ [1/5] Poor Post-Stay Service from a Reputed Hotel I stayed here on April 8th-9th, but the post-stay experience has been frustrating. Despite assurances, I never received my bill from the team even after multiple reminders. This delay has affected my expense claims. For a reputted hotel of this in Shimoga, such poor follow-up is unacceptable. Guests deserve better accountability. Fix these issues to avoid losing trust.

Attended a function in the ground floor hall. They were switching on/off the centralized Air condition, when asked they said it's under repair. Management has not maintained it and they do not have any alternative to do the needful. With people around 300 in hall without Ac in this summer was very challenging for elders, kids and their parents mainly. Do the needful
