Very horrible stay at the property. The owner says the checkin and checkout time is 8:30, apparently he goes to office after that so it needs to be done before this. Although he is very smooth with the checkin even if you are late but will react very rudely and inappropriately during the checkout. Toilet was extremely dirty. There is monkey poop and piss everywhere. Also after we've checked out, the owner cancelled our booking on Booking.com so that we can't leave a review over there.

A homely homestay .. We had a pleasant stay. Host Sanjay was very kind and knowledgeable. He offered us complimentary breakfast on day 1 too. He helped us with tour guide , restaurant options everything. Room is spacious and neat . Pros: calm atmosphere, very clean , well maintained spacious room and host is very accommodative. Room is equipped with kettle , cooler and a 2.1 channel (No TV). Outdoor is furnished with a hammock , small tyre swing and dining area . Cons: Bathroom door access is from outside and not inside the room. A small spiral staircase leads to the room, hence travelling light will be the best option. Overall , we had a pleasant stay at Jay Stays ..

We visited the place in September. We are from TN. We stayed here. The hospitality was so good. The food was also good. The owner of the place was so polite and friendly. Felt comfortable. Though the area was surrounded by monkeys the stay was a safe place. Enjoyed and explored the rural lifestyle. Small tea shops, Tungabhadra, boating, nearby temple and the cave in it all where exciting.

I had a really lovely stay at Jay Stays in Anegundi. From check-in to check-out, the owner was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and genuinely helpful. He made everything easy and smooth, and even helped me find a trustworthy scooter rental, which made a big difference for getting around comfortably. I truly felt at home during my stay. Anegundi itself is such an authentic and beautiful village, quiet yet full of life. There’s a great local Indian food restaurant just around the corner, and the ferry that takes you across to the other side (with your scooter) also departs from Anegundi, which was super practical and convenient for exploring the area. I’d definitely recommend Jay Stays to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-located place with a personal touch.

He guided me well about nearby places to visit and even arranged a rented bike at a price lower than the market rate. Whenever I needed anything, I just called him and he was always ready with a quick solution. The rooms were very nice, clean, and well maintained, with excellent service. The location was also perfect and very convenient. Overall, my experience was excellent. I would highly recommend this stay—go for it without any second thoughts!

Last weekend, we stayed at Jay Stays in Anegundi for a day. The rooms, bathrooms, and the whole place were very clean, just like owner Jay showed us at first. He is very kind and helped us in every way during our stay. He also guided us about nearby places to visit. The stay is close to Anjanadri Betta and many other spots, which made it easy and comfortable for us. We had a few small issues, but Sanjay quickly helped and solved them. He is very polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Parking is available, next to the stay quite old Ranganath swamy temple is there..Overall, it was a good experience. I would highly recommend it for families.

We stayed at Jay Stays for 3 nights and had a great experience! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location is perfect for exploring North Hampi. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, located right beside the Ranganath Swamy Mandir in Anegundi. Rental scooters are available just outside, and Anif, the rental guy, was also very polite and helpful. A big thanks to Sanjay, who was extremely polite, soft-spoken, and made our stay comfortable. We’ll definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Hampi.
