Worst location and hospitality I've ever seen, the bedrooms are full of bugs, the manager speaks as if he's doing a favour just for hosting and is very irresponsible. Please please stay away for your sanity. It also feels very unsafe and inhospitable.

This is the prefect stay for the weekend gateway with friends. We had a wonderful time at Lostel Malgudi. The location was perfect - close to the city and beautiful surrounding atmosphere. The greenery around the property is like awesome. Very comfortable, spacious, clean and warm rooms. The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Best place I recommend to backpackers , friends gang and family to visit, relax in nature. Ambience is really great. People who like authentic style like me will love enjoy this place. Service is really great. Rooms and washrooms are really neat and clean. Location is very near to chickmaglore city. Hardly takes 10-15 min from city to reach property. Pretty sure you will make best memories with friends when you stay here. I should talk about the safety also its very safe to enjoy, Secure property.

This property is away from city, very silent and calm environment and cozy rooms. You can hear insects and birds chirping. Easy to navigate to location. They have a play area and few games. Badminton, cricket, carrom etc. Campfire is also available based on rain conditions. The backyard is beautiful surrounded by coffee plantations. Hosts very helpful with booking and checkin, Helped with itinerary and some local contacts. Food wasn't available at the property, though zomato and swiggy is available. Two private rooms have attach bath. Dorms and one private rooms have 4 shared bathrooms. Overall great experience.
