Rooms were allotted after waiting for 30mins even after we had informed them our ETA well in advance,Soap in bathroom not provided, there was no hot water in our bathroom and we had to use someother room bathroom for taking Bath. There is no dedicated wardrobe to keep your belongings, as the existing wardrobes were occupied by owner's things and it's locked . While booking,they had agreed for 3 times food, with non veg dinner and lunch, but we have been provided non veg only for the dinner and for lunch they just provided Rice and Veg sambar with curd which was very much dissappointing for us. owner uncle is just behind the money and doesn't care about guest's comfort. Otherwise , location of the property is good surrounded with good scenic beauty.

The property is at an excellent location inside the Mudigere-area forest. The pristine forest, the pathway leading to the property, and the peace and quiet, make it potentially a great attraction, except:||1. Management is average, at best. When we reached on a Saturday afternoon, the owners/proprietors were out of town. By the time they returned and made our room ready (we'd informed them before, but our room was not ready), we had been sitting outside for 90 minutes. Early morning tea/coffee was not available, despite precise requests. Dinner was served late, with profuse apologies. ||2. The lake inside the property was unusable. The pictures on TripAdvisor are misleading.||3. There was no tour of the coffee estate.||4. There was no proper help provided to pick up luggage from the car.||5. There was no internet or phone access.||||The food was excellent, and the owners were homely and affectionate. However, the professionalism of hospitality was missing. Nishant, the event arranger doubling up as a manager, was very helpful. On the whole, the food and location were excellent, but the overall management of the property was not up to the mark.

First thing is route: if google map not showing you corrct way, follow route as in attached picture. Reach point 1 and follow the map road and from point 2 take road to homestay. Road to homestay is not in good condition. Stay: The homestay is quite and having beautiful scenery. The room we got was not in good condition and broken cots, no electricitybackup, perhaps not well maintained. Breakfast was good and tasty prepared and served by owners every morning. We stayed for 2 days. Ashok uncle and Kalpana aunty are nice to visitors with their food and hospitality. They say they have separate homestay for family and this was for bachelors.

Being a homestay, rooms are basic. But both the rooms & the bathroom is really clean. so no complaints there! Food was amazing. The non-veg was like home food only. What stands out about this place is that Nishanth, the owner knows the meaning of hospitality & that works for me!! Location is literally between nature, so you can be rest assured about the rejuvenation part. great time or those who love photography. will be convenient to reac if you have your own car. all in all a good place.. will recommend it for sure.

Located at an hour's drive from Chikmaglur, it is a bungalow within the coffee plantations. The map might mislead your way but the sign boards help you. The rooms are equipped with basic amenities and there's a television in the dining hall for those who cannot live without it. The hosts are warm, welcoming and make sure you are at ease. The food served is hygienic and delicious. The places for sight seeing are quite at a distance and one requires to have a personal vehicle. There is no accommodation for the driver though.|Overall, it's a wonderful experience.

This is a perfect homestay and feels like you are at home. Best ever homestay i ever visited. The owners are so good that you never feel you are not in your home. Very clean and is best place away from home. Just go and enjoy the nature. Owners do not ever let you feel that you are alone. The home cooked food and it was our good luck that we got to eat food prepared by the owner aunty. She cooks very well and delicious recipes she has. Awesome food and awesome place to spend your long weekends.

Amazing place to stay for 2 nights. Clean rooms, clean toilets and excellent food. This homestay is situated amid coffee plantation. In the morning and evening you can go for long walks and enjoy carefree sound of lot of birds in the plantation area. Caretaker- Uncle and Aunty will do everything possible to make your stay comfortable. They have a big verandah infront of their home where kids can play games like badminton and other games.

Located few kms from the Mudigere town, this coffee estate gives the impression of a stay inside a forest. Coffee plantations around and few kms travel through a rocky road from the highway, the homestay is a perfect place to stay for those who seek a short break from the daily hectic life. Mornings were rainy and misty. ||Wild peacocks can be located sitting on trees along with many other species of birds (good to carry a binocular).||||Rooms are decent and we enjoyed the homemade food.||||Overall a very nice place to stay for a couple of days.

Tucked in the middle of coffee plantation, this magnificent house built in typical Malnad style offers the best place for relaxation. The couple who owns this property also stay in the same house and they take very good care of their guests. ||They also arranged for a cab for sight-seeing and the cabbie was familiar with all the places around Mudigere, Chikmaglur and he covered all the places that we wanted to visit.||Thanks to the JD homestay owners and the cab guy, we had a memorable trip.
