Rooms are not at all maintained and unhygienic. You can find snails roaming around inside the room, bathroom as well as on the bedsheet. Too many lizards as well inside the room. Rooms have gaps everywhere, be it main door, windows or even bathroom doors. Coming to the service, delayed in providing the food. Room service was also bad, and even camp fire was put just for name sake. Location was decent, but with other experiences never recommend this place to anyone. Not at all worth the money.

Our stay at Kerekal Homestay was extremely disappointing. The room was poorly maintained and full of flies, making it very uncomfortable. The owner was rude, which completely ruined the experience. They don’t even have a card payment option, which caused a lot of inconvenience. The only good things were the food, which was tasty, and the staff, who were polite and helpful. I would have given zero stars if possible.

One of the worst stay experience I ever had! We had gotten 2 cottages for 2 couples and both were under really bad condition. It seemed like those were not being maintained in a long time. No shower and there were snails all over the bathroom, room doors, walls and balcony. There were 3, 4 lizards roaming around. When we informed them, their answer was that you can't help it as it's a rainy season. But that's not justified when there are insects inside the room, not just outside. We had reached the stay by 1 PM and wanted to have lunch so that we can go out for sight seeing. But there was a huge crowd of guests and they asked us to wait for 20 minutes for lunch. However they made us wait till 3.30 PM. Our plan was delayed and we had to skip a place. They informed us that they would call us when the breakfast was served so that we can finish early as we were the only vegetarians. But they didn't call and it was quite uncomfortable for us to eat. The hosts were understanding and they apologised for the inconvenience caused and they reduced the charges. I definitely do not recommend this stay for any couples if they want to stay in the cottage!

One of the bad experiences which we had. No proper service. Cottage rooms are not in good condition. There was a literally gap in main door. Snails and lizards were everywhere, even on the dressing table. Hot water was not clean. It felt like there was no proper maintenance for cottage rooms.

Rooms had basic amenities, were quite spacious and had a balcony in the one we stayed. However the rating is due to the washroom hygiene. It was not clean at all. There was no soap, tissue. Food was served very late and kitchen hygiene was definitely questionable as the area to the dining hall was stinking and could see that it was not maintained well. Food was very basic, not great.

Though in pictures the place looks really beautiful and sets high expectation , In reality it is just okayish at best. The washrooms are not at all clean . even though the views are really good , the service is not at all good. The food is another story with not much options and sub standard food and little care of hygiene . The food served had insects which we pointed out to caretaker multiple times.

I visited this homestay form a jc program, but I had a worst experience. The room alloted for us was not at all good, in bathroom comod was out of fit, not yet all cleaned one. Even After asking many time we did not get lock for room. In most importantly regarding food so worst. We had the same sambar made for idle in breakfast and for roti in the afternoon. No extra curry. Shortage of food. In zipline section 30 members managed with only two belts. Totally felt bad.

Google, please provide a negative rating for such people so that nobody gets fooled with their hard earned money. Message to all, Please don't get fooled with the reviews, I think they are all paid reviews, Worst food, no choice, canteen manager doesn't listen to you and no spots close to the place, PLEASE DON'T GET FOOLED BY THE WORD PRIVATE WATER FALLS. It is minimum 30 kms for the place, approximately 1 hour drive. Very badly maintained rooms with untidy beds without proper bedsheets which are not washed. Please believe, your money will be wasted and if after reading this you go, please write a review. There are hardly any staff, some are under the influence of alcohol even before the guests.

Worst place to visit, they tell you they have a private falls, please don't believe them, the falls is 1.5 hours drive. Nothing is near to it. They don't have any play area other than the zip line which most of the people don't use because it is long and scare and also risky. Worst food which no choices at all, there is no variety, please don't waste your money There is this canteen manager who is a drunkard, avoid talking to him.

Giving one star because there is no option for zero. There is no exciting games. All they have is food, which is also not that great. During the booking they committed to give 3 rooms but at the arrival they gave only 2 rooms. They said there is no refund for the cancellation too. Since we didn't had an option we had to stay forcefully. Had one of bad experience.

If i could give 0 starts i would. there are so many reasons for my rating. 1. the staff (just one guy) did not know we were arriving. 2. he told us that the room is not ready and it would take 15 minutes, which went on for 3 hours. 3. there was no electricity in the rooms. 4. there was construction going on, right outside our room (bore well) which was uber loud. 5. when we asked about when it will be over, they said it would not stop just for us :|. Also, they asked us to visit a few places if we didnt want to hear it. LOL 6. when we ordered food, it came through all of the construction dust, and they were not even bothered that we noticed the dust on our food. 7. Lastly, we left the property, and they kept the advance. 8. absolute horrible experience, and I also suspect that the reviews are paid!. 9. the rooms are dirty and unhygienic.

Horrible place for stay, overpriced for what’s offered. Food is terrible. None of the taps in bathroom work properly. Avoid this place at all costs. We stayed for 1 night in glass house but they charged for 2 nights and even food. They charge per head instead of per room.

Not worth of visiting this place, instead v can try for some other... Food is very worst....i guess all these are fake reviews.. i visited by see these reviews.we had an un invited ants to sleep with us during night which is a horrible experience.. if you are compromising person for everything by paying the money and want to have a worst food and spoil you trip and mood this is a very good play to visit..ordering extra starters will be too much expensive. And there us only one worker for all room service..
