⚠️ Worst PG Experience Ever – Avoid Shanti Comfort PG ⚠️ This has been the most horrible and disrespectful PG experience of my life. The owner Vijay is greedy, rude, and untrustworthy. He first agreed for ₹11,500 (two sharing), but then kept harassing me week after week to increase rent: from 11.5K → 15K → 16K → 19.5K → 23.5K. Even after paying 16K, he never stopped troubling me, every time asking for more. When I refused to increase further (after already giving him an extra ₹3,000 for maintenance), he went to the extent of stopping me from taking food – pure harassment. Despite promising that he wouldn’t ask me to vacate, he broke his word within a month and shamelessly told me to leave. Also, there is no security unless you lock your room. They have converted 2 floors to hotel rest are PG. Hotel members can go to another floor if they want. I do not know how it is allowed to convert same PG in hotel. They have no standard charges for PG, they may increase anytime whenever they feel like doing it. The so-called property manager is no better – he even threatened me saying: “If you don’t increase rent, I’ll throw all your luggage out.” Absolutely disgusting behavior. And here’

I stayed at this PG for a few months. The property and infrastructure are well-maintained and thoughtfully planned—definitely better than many other PGs in the area. However, the only reason for my low rating is the poor management, especially when it comes to food services and the overall treatment of PG residents. Mr. Vijay sir, I sincerely request you to treat PG residents with the same respect as your hotel aritaku customer. Both are your customers—and in fact, PG residents often pay even more. Showing favoritism creates a negative experience and damages the reputation of the entire property. One of the most frustrating issues was the dining situation. Every night, we were made to wait for a long time just to get dinner. i heard people raised many time with u. Despite repeated issues and complaints, there was no improvement, even on my last day. The dining area was frequently shifted based on the hotel's convenience, without any consideration for the PG residents. A good facility may attract people initially, but such behavior ensures they don’t come back—or recommend the place to others. I stayed here for almost a year, and what started as a seemingly decent living arrangement turned into one of the most uncomfortable and stressful experiences of my life. I'm writing this so others don't make the same mistake I did. Mr. Vijay — Let me start with the biggest red flag, the owner himself. Vijay is someone who operates purely on intimidation. He lies to your face, makes promises he never keeps, and the moment you question him or raise a concern, his default response is shouting and threatening you to vacate. There is zero respect for residents as paying adults. During my stay, I personally witnessed him physically slap a staff member who works there for room service, something that shocked me deeply and tells you everything about the kind of person running this place. No Privacy — Your room is not your space here. Staff will walk into your room using the market key to clean. CCTV is used not for safety but to monitor your every move, including something as basic as how many times you use the washing machine in a week. I was questioned for using it twice. The PG property was very good, but the management, especially owner Mr. Vijay, was not. When I joined, he talked very nicely and politely, but after joining, he became very rude. He did not listen to any complaints properly. He asked for the water bill separately, even though the PG rent already included water. Initially food was good. When the rent was increased, the quality of food went down, and water and power supply were not proper. He also owning that Aritaku hotel downstairs. We often had to wait a long time for food because he served hotel customers first. Mr. Vijay, they were 1-day customers, mind that. Run your hotel or PG. Don't messup both. If we asked questions or complained, he talked rudely and even threatened to vacate us. Many people joined this PG happily, but most left after fights or arguments. Let me tell our story: he changed the PG menu according to his hotel’s convenience. Whatever was cooked in the afternoon hotel excess was given again for dinner. He said we should adjust but he did not adjust a single thing for PG customers. If we asked any question, he rudely told us to leave and vacate.
