James is the guy who was very arrogant. The receptionist . He asked to throw out everyone and empty the room and we heard that . Arrogance came due to lot of footfalls in that place and it's really a good place with bad people . Over confident and arrogance. It will loose its value due to management. I don't know if my feedback will be valued or not but I don't want others to suffer the same

A big NO to this property. 1. Location: The zostel stay is 31 km from Hospet Railway station. The auto fare would be between 1000-1500 rs. The place is so far from the main road that you would feel you are getting kidnapped. The auto drivers and localities say that we have to reach the stay by 7pm else there is a fear of CHEETAH or BEAR or FOX. You will need to spend minimum 1500 per day for auto to roam hampi from this property. They don't allow their bikes to be taken to the other side of the Tungabadhra river. So you are left with only 1 option i.e auto. 2.Staff: The staffs are so rude. They took 3 hours to tell us the final bill amount. They don't keep proper records. They ask you to pay in CASH if you don't want to pay the extra charges( 1007 Rs per night if paid online and 850rs if paid through CASH). When asked why are they(Jack) so much confused, they shout on you in return and ask you NOT TO COME BACK to property. 3.Cleanliness The washroom had leakages in Dorm 603. The toilet water was all inside the washroom and it dint flow out. They don't have curtain even after charging you so heavily. 4. Value for money It's a big ZERO. Its NEVER recommended to solo travellers. T

My brother spoke to the owner to enquire regarding the stay as we were planning vacation in near time and the owner responded very rudely and inappropriately, he asked to leave the place immediately and said that stay is not provided to locals.. also he started using bad words, seems like the guy have not known what mutual respect mean... Suggest to avoid this worst place and worst people in this resort... Please don't spoil your vacation..

This place was a huge disappointment. Although the food was great, the rooms were good value and there were a lot of people to meet and socialise with, we experienced theft at this hostel by the owner. Upon checking out we were given our tab which was completely incorrect. They had added on another 7 items coming to a total of 1260 rupees which they refused to waiver and even threatened to call the police despite them being in the wrong. I kept a personal tab on what we had incase something like this happened. Very unprofessional and zero customer service. The female owner is an absolute rude nightmare as she was screaming at us with lies across the main reception which was highly embarrassing. They also messed up another person's tab whilst we were there and overcharged them with extra items too. Do not book transfers with them also as they overcharged significantly for those also. Would not recommend.

It was offseason during our visit and the staff was cut short. The owner was reluctant to clean the room and change the sheets saying its mud room eventually it will get dirty. The landlady was a nightmare. She was yelling at us in their local language when we asked room service and was telling if you wanna stay at this condition you can stay else you find someother place. We were on a hectic motorcycle ride from goa at it was around 9 at night and it was raining too. So we didn't have much options but to choose for it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The ambience is good but if you are looking for a peaceful trip this place is should be off you list. You can get better places around there only

It's sad to see that a place in India that which prefers Foreginers over an Indian.We had made an earlier reservation (after many desperate attempts to get in touch with them-bounced emails, unanswered phone calls).On reaching the place saw that there were only foreigners in that place, still didn't bother much and went to confirm our reservation at the reception. The lady/owner Sharmilla was confirming bookings to foreigners but didn't seem to give half the attention to us. She waved us off in a polished manner telling to check other close-by places as all bookings were full, followed by rude gestures and so we left as we had no interest in a place that is not hospitable. Would not recommend this place to my fellow Indians, not because the place is bad but because the culture which we Indians have is not the same within the people owning this place.

5 star Kerala parantha with vegetarian gravy. Honestly, was out of the world. 4 stars for the sweet doggos just chilling being their adorable selves around the property. One star for the 'lady' owner - obnoxious, loud & someone who has no regard for patrons. Had the misfortune of witnessing her hurling abuses to a group of young travelers. Really broke my heart to see it going down, second hand embarassment & empathy for that sordid bunch. Decided to never visit again & warn others. Luckily, the place is closed now despite it having great potential - property, location & everything else going for it. First negative review I've ever written. Avoid like the plague.

Ive never written a bad review before, but i felt it necessary to warn over travelers about this place. If youre looking for good vibes and a friendly spot, Goan Corner IS NOT IT. The staff is unwelcoming, but this is only a reflection of the owners who are extremely rude people. I endedd up cutting my trip short because i got insulted by them for asking for wifi. I couldnt believe it, as most people in India are so nice and we were their customers after all. Also to note: they restrict wifi to half day and it is so slow many people go elsewhere for internet, they turn off electricity every afternoon, there are no sinks or doors in the private bathrooms. Even though the hostel is physically nice (most hostels in Hampi are, Hampi is an amazing place!), try looking for hostels just outside hippy island for the real shanty shanty experience :) Sad to see such a mystical place ruined by bad people just wanting to make a buck.

I came physically to this guesthouse and the worker over there showed me a room which i really liked and i told him to book that room for the day after, so the day after i came with all the luggage and they told me everything is already booked and my booking was not confirmed. You can try to book but do not trust them to save a room for you. Dont go there... also the owner is very rude and some people that i talk with said that he will add stuff to your bill which you never consumed.

It is situated in the hippie island of Hampi. Had a very bad experience from the staff...we called them in the morning and evening and had a booking for three people. we clearly said that we will be reaching there at midnight.he said it's ok to come.there is no problem. I know there is no network coverage for mobile phones, so I clearly said him that I will call him from the last place where network coverage is there and that is near sanapur.we reached there at 11 pm. we called him more than 20 times but he didn't pick up the call. with the help of offline map, we decided to go to the property location. the condition of the road is very bad. and our car is a hatchback one.it has a low ground clearance. we stopped the car 300meters before the property and walked towards it. we reached the property by foot.we saw 3 or 4 cars and SUVs.i think it's other guests vehicle. what shocked us is that nobody is there to take care of the guests. we searched and waited for almost one hour at midnight for someone to give us a room that we booked through phone. we reached thereby 8hour drive.. we're super tired and angry at the same time..and one of us mobile shows network coverage for a short dur
