Worst Experience. Highly unprofessional. Few things that we and other guests suffered during our stay. 1. After booking and taking advance they didn't provided rooms after reaching there. Just stating overbooking done by mistake. No intimation beforehand keeping guests stranded and puzzled. Then somehow adjusting elsewhere in very substandard place. 2. Trying to extract same charge for substandard room during check out. 3. It's December months, not providing extra blankets or pillows on request. 4. Not switching on geyser for the guests who wish to checkout early. Reason - can't wale up early to switch on the button. 5. Keeping guests stranded on Road who were confused on directions to reach actual location as Google maps are helpful upto certain extent only. 6. Staffs are local youths not trained for hospitality business. Not recommended for booking here. Try other places.

We went for lunch at this restaurant, had very bad experience. We ordered paneer tikka it was too tangy and garlic naan , u can have look for it, it’s completely unroasted and unified garlic. Waste of money and food

My experience at Banana tree was not good. I stayed there in their Mountain facing hut for 2 nights. The rooms were fine but there were frogs in the room and bathroom. I opted for geyser based room but the geyser was not working and the staff was least bothered to repair the geyser. The staff was getting irritated when complaint about the frogs. The staff was not welcoming I think so. The restaurant vibes was the best part here. But that is also overpriced. They were charging 20 rs water bottle to 30rs. Overall my experience was not good and I will not recommend it to anyone for stay.

I had faced following issues during my short stay(I booked it for 3 Days but I wrapped it on frist day)at this place , 1.At checkin there was miscommunication from their end and initially they said we don't have booking for you ,after a hassle of 30 mins ,they finally gave me the rooms 3. Rooms were far below than basic and not maintained 4. Service is not at all good and caretaker is super arrogant while the owners and other managers are helpful. 5. At night few locals who were not staying in the hotel were having a party in restaurant makes me feel unsafe Other things like bugs , mosquito,frogs and lizzerds are everywhere inside and outside the room but it's outside place so can't blame to them as it's part of nature.but thought they could do something about it. Food taste was good and location is awesome

Worst experience ever. Please avoid this place. The staff is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. They also promised a fire camp, which was never arranged, and the response from the team was careless and dismissive. On top of everything, the road to this property is terrible. This place completely ruined our plans and caused unnecessary stress. Do not trust their promises. Not worth the risk.

It was a very threatening experience. We booked a room with pay at hotel option, but when we reached around 10 pm, the room they showed us looked completely different from the pictures and there was no hot water. We asked if they could give us hot water in a bucket, but they said it would only be available after 7 am. We were not satisfied at all with the room or the facilities, so we decided to leave and stay at Lazy Panda instead, where the price was cheaper and hot water was available 24/7. But as soon as we tried to leave Banana Homestay, the staff started threatening us. When we spoke to the owner, he was very rude and demanded that we pay the full room price even though we were not staying. They even blocked our car to stop us from leaving.they act like they were some gunda's demanding money We told the owner, “If we are not satisfied with your room, why should we stay and pay?” I hope this never happens to anyone else.

The rooms don't offer good value for the price. There's no service provided; it's just a house with no basis facilities. If you need water or have questions, they don't seem to be concerned.Check for nearby hotels they are better.

Wont recommend. They didn’t give us room. The caretaker was clueless when we arrived. Spoke to few people for 15-20 minutes and then said we dont have room available. Hearing this in empty places like this is quite scary where u dont find cab easily. We had to walk back and luckily found another place nearby. Unprofessional people!

Very disappointed with the service. Unhygienic rooms and toilets. Premise is also unkept and littered with plastic bottles etc. Not enough blankets, no provision of filtered water, no hot water in the rooms…. All in all worst stay in my many years of worldwide travel.

Worst food,luckily we didn't book stay here. We unfortunately had to go there for food because of rain and it was nearby option and pure veg.Nothimg was good they mad eus wait for 1 hour plus to start serving our order. Dont wanna waste my time writing in length its worst option when it comes to food. A BIG NO.

We visited this resort for lunch and had a very disappointing experience. The restaurant was completely empty when we entered, which made us hesitant, but we still decided to try since we were hungry. The first dish, Veg Crispy, was burnt and had a strong stale oil smell, so we returned it. Next, we ordered simple roti, sabji, and dal, clearly mentioning to serve only if fresh as we had a 4-year-old and a toddler with us. Unfortunately, the roti served was sour and tasted fermented, clearly made from old batter. After that, we lost all confidence in the food quality and stopped eating. The server had no explanation, yet we were charged ₹800 for such horrible food. One of the worst dining experiences we’ve had — highly recommend avoiding this place.
