Pros: The place is in a good location with good view of the hills.||Power backup and wi-fi.||The cook makes decent Indian food, bit oily but good.||Enough space around for kids to play.||Cons: The manager/owner Mr. Louis is someone you better not interact. He is quite grumpy and with him around you will not be comfortable. ||At the time of booking he wanted us to pay him directly to his personal bank account. When we did not do that asi had my doubts and booked through cleartrip.com, he threw a tantrum and threatened to cancel our booking. On arrival he acted very irritated and behaved as if he was doing us a favour by having us in his homestay.||Although the checkout time on website is given as 12 noon, he asked us to vacate by 9 am as a new group was coming at 10 am.

Pros: The food was tasty. The owner and staffs were polite. Cons: The rooms were way too small, The 3 bed room which we had booked has space for only 3 beds and nothing else. We were barely able to move in the room. They are short staffed. For each and everything, we had to climb down the steps to the restaurant. No one is there to deliver anything. Hot water doesn't come properly. And we had to ask repeatedly to fix the boiler. Room had a peculiar smell. The linens weren't clean. No toiletries were in room and we had to ask for the same. No water bottle in room. They took 10k for one night for a room which is not at all worth for the quality of room and service.

I visited Chikkamagaluru with family for two nights, and chose to stay here. Room: Overall I had a pleasant experience, with a few downsides (i) The jet spray in the washroom was leaking to the point that it was unusable. We notified about this to the staff, but no action was taken to fix it. (ii) Electricity was going on and off very frequently throughout the night. My guess is that the inverter/generator at the property was not able to handle the load, which in itself was minimal. (iii) Rooms were smaller, but manageable. (iv) WiFi connection wasn't there in our rooms, but was only available in certain areas. Food: My stay included breakfast, snacks and dinner. Food was great, and the service was satisfactory as well. Location: The property itself is situated in a beautiful location and has a lot of amenities for leisure like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton, kid play ground. We asked for a carrom board and they also had that! The staff also provided us with our own bonfire setup at night which was pretty cool! There's so many beautiful flowers, mountains and coffee plantations around.

1. First things first, there is very less mobile network connectivity here. only BSNL and Airtel subscribers may get some connectivity. ||2. Food is decent.||3. The hospitality is very good. Cleaners, attenders willingly listen to u.||4. Big enough to accomodate a group of 20 people (seriously not more than that).||5. They provide very less in-house entertainment. (all u can do is some air rifle shooting). So only if u have plans to visit places near valley, go for it.||||Places to see :- Mulayangiri Peak.||Places to avoid :- Baba Budangiri falls, it is disappointing.||||Info :- Do not carry liquor. Guards check ur bus and will break the bottles in front of u, very sad scene.||||Hope u have a good trip to Chikmagalur.
