We recently stayed at this homestay during our trip to Hampi. At first, we were quite pleased with the hospitality—the owner seemed welcoming and friendly, which gave us a positive first impression. However, our experience took a turn during the course of our stay. We had booked an auto through them to explore North Hampi. Initially, we were told it would cost ₹800, but later, the auto driver claimed the charge was ₹1800 instead. When we questioned this, they also added an extra ₹200 because we were just 15 minutes late. For a short 800-meter ride to the coracle, we were charged ₹200, without being informed of the distance beforehand. We later found out that the typical range for exploring North Hampi is ₹1200 to ₹1500, so we felt misled. On the next day, we faced another issue. Although we were only slightly late for checkout, the owner’s wife became unnecessarily rude and confrontational, which was unexpected after the initial good hospitality. Additionally, on the third day, they quoted ₹1200 for an auto, but when we booked from outside, we only had to pay ₹800. Good place to stay near Virupaksha temple. It's kind of homestay. You will get two single beds joined together, one chair, one small table. They have gas geyser, so you will have to call the owner everytime you need hot water. Once switched on, it will run for 60 minutes. They can improve it by installing an electric geyser. In that area you will find all restaurants nearby. So you will have plenty of options. I was there in the last week of December so it was little expensive for me considering its a homestay.

The owner is very friendly any helpful. There is free WiFi. The room is simple with minimal facilities. There is attached bathroom. It is right next to the temple and there are lot of food places nearby.

I had the choice of a room in a guest house or a room on its own just off the street. I chose the room off the street as there was a little space to sit outside to watch the world go by, slightly hidden by the climbers growing over the fence. I felt like I was right in the village. The room itself was pretty basic, I didn't try for hot water, but didn't need it. Shiva was really friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

It was good and comfortable stay everything is good except they should give the drinking water. Also cost per night should be less. The owner Shiva is good in nature and also help you to guide as well. In the room it includes fan, hot water facility.
