Worst service and property has water issues. Host doesnt respond quickly, we have to call more than 5 times for him to pick and respond, when highlighted about the issues he behaves like a goon. Host only cares about reviews rather than on customer experience. It would be better if they respond to service complaints rather than responding to reviews No accountability, No professionalism. Also doesnt accept and tries to bypass booking websites to avoid accountability & scrutiny.

Well ventilated room with good potential, but the bed and bathroom setup could use improvement! Good stuff: The private room was clean and had great ventilation, thanks to the mesh-covered windows. We could leave them open without worrying about insects or mosquitoes coming in - which was honestly my most favorite thing! There was also decent storage space in the room. Stuff that can be improved: The bed wasn't sturdy. Even turning over slightly would make noise, which made it hard to first fall asleep, and then stay asleep. Secondly, the commode in the bathroom was old, and not in a good condition. It wasn't firmly planted and so it moved when sat on (quite odd!).

I had such a wonderful experience staying here — truly one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at! From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and extremely well-maintained. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful . The hostel itself is clean, safe, and thoughtfully designed — with spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, and peaceful surroundings. The atmosphere here is both relaxing and vibrant, making it perfect for solo travelers, students, and working professionals alike. The facilities were beyond expectations — excellent Wi-Fi, hot water, power backup, hygienic kitchen space, and a calm ambience that made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated how peaceful and quiet the environment was, which allowed me to focus on my work and also get deep rest. Overall, I had a really beautiful and stress-free stay here, and I’m truly grateful for the care and attention the management puts into this place. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and homely stay in Mysore. I’ll definitely come back again!

Had an amazing stay at this hostel! It’s super calm and quiet—perfect if you’re looking to unwind. Plus, it’s really close to the city, so getting around is super easy. Spacious, chill and great location. I adore the high ceilings and the large outdoor spaces - rare to find in a place so well connected to the rest of the city! The garden was lush and well-kept. The manager was kind and helpful and was always around to answer any of our questions and give recommendations for things to do. If you're looking for somewhere relaxing, comfortable and affordable to spend one night or even two weeks in Mysore, I couldn't recommend this place more! Thanks Hostel Stories, I'll be back ❤️

I stayed at Hostel Stories for 2 days and had a really nice experience. It's an old house converted into a hostel with one private room and two dorm rooms. For the price, it's a decent and comfortable place to stay. The hostel has all the basic amenities - a kitchen, terrace, courtyard, parking space, hot water, and good Wi-Fi (Airtel). I was able to work without any network issues during my stay, which was a big plus. It’s located in a peaceful residential area with small local shops nearby for quick needs. The host is extremely friendly and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable including helping me with an early check-in. He, along with Satish anna and his family, made the place feel warm and homely. If you're looking for a calm, slow-paced place with welcoming people, Hostel Stories is definitely worth considering. 4 stars for the place & additional 1star for the people there. PS: Still waiting for that exceptional breakfast!!
