Living in a hostel has been one of the most unforgettable chapters of my life. It was a mix of challenges, fun, freedom, and growth. In the beginning, I was nervous—being away from home, family, and everything familiar was not easy. But soon, the hostel became a second home. I met people from different backgrounds and states, each with their own stories. Some of them became lifelong friends. We shared everything—food, notes, stories, and even our struggles. Late-night study sessions, birthday celebrations with cake and snacks , endless chai talks, and even fighting over the fan during hot summers are memories I’ll always cherish. Hostel life taught me independence. From managing my daily routine and finances to dealing with responsibilities, I learned valuable life lessons. There were also moments of homesickness, but my friends were always there to lift my mood. Though there were some challenges like adjusting to shared spaces, noise, and food that wasn’t always great, the overall experience helped shape me into a more confident and adaptable person. Looking back, I feel grateful for my hostel days—they were messy, noisy, full of emotions, and absolutely priceless.
