What an absolute nightmare this so-called “luxury resort” turned out to be. Kimmane Golf Resort is nothing more than an arrogant, mismanaged, glorified 2-star hotel pretending to be 5-star. When we checked in, we had all our luggage collected and the staff were finally taking it to the room. At that moment, my brother simply said: “Before you take it up, let me just borrow one suitcase—I need my medicine.” And what does the receptionist say? “You can take your medicine later. If you take your luggage now, we won’t deliver it to your room.” Can you believe that? Medicine was secondary, apparently, because their ego and “rules” mattered more. So, my brother had to just ignore it, didn’t take the suitcase, and didn’t take his medicine. What kind of heartless, arrogant nonsense is this? In a real 5-star property, staff would be running to make sure the guest is okay. Here, they act like they’re doing us a favor just by existing. It only got worse from there. That night, we ordered food—three portions. They refused, saying only one portion is enough for us. Excuse me? Since when do hotel staff decide how much food guests can eat? The sheer arrogance and ridiculousness of that interact

I had visited Kimmane Golf Resort on last Sunday. It was one of the worst experiences I could have Eva dreamt of. Right from the security to the food... Everything was disastrous. As I was aware of prior bookings to enter the property, I made sure I got myself a booking done for enjoying the high tea at the property. Though on reaching I was made to wait for 20 minutes. I had shown the call details to security guard, but still he dint allow us and again I had to call through the reception and to my wonder I was said that there's no booking made under one such name. I have them the exact details of the call log and then I was allowed. The whole thing took around 15-20 minutes as the guard was busy to stop a bunch of people who drove by car and was busy wit people who came so. We entered and walked towards the coffee shop. There's just a seating of 5 tables in the coffee shop. And those 5 tables were pathetically managed by the staff. Staff was extremely ignorant and rude. Though on repeatedly calling them for cleaning the table and getting atleast a glass of water, we were left unattended. We placed the order. And then after 25 minutes, the staff comes and asks me to repeat and conf

Extremely disappointing experience. While the property itself is decent, the staff completely ruined the stay. The front desk team (especially Mr.vikas) was shockingly rude, unprofessional, and highly uncooperative. They were not only dismissive but also provided misleading and incorrect information, which caused unnecessary inconvenience. Basic courtesy and respect were clearly lacking. It’s unacceptable for any hotel to have such poorly trained and disrespectful staff. Management needs to take this seriously and make immediate improvements, otherwise the overall experience will continue to suffer.

Very disappointing ‘luxury’ dining experience. We visited SAA Restaurant at Kimmane Golf Resort for our friend’s anniversary. We were a group of 8 and entered around 9:30 PM. As soon as we sat down, the staff told us the table was “not serviceable” and shifted us to another one. Then we were told 10:15 PM is the last order and that we had to place the full order all at once. We agreed. We had brought an anniversary cake, and a lady informed us that outside cake is not allowed and if we want to cut it there, we have to pay ₹500. Coming to the food: the starter arrived before the soup, and the soup was cold with hardly 4–5 tiny chicken pieces. While serving, the steward dropped a chicken piece onto my lap, apologized and said he would replace it — the replacement never came. Almost all starters (even tandoor items) were not hot, and the Sangria was terrible — the wine was extremely bitter and didn’t taste like a proper sangria at all. The only thing that saved the night was the biryani, which was good. Even small basics like a finger bowl were given only after requesting, and it had so little water that you could barely dip a finger. For a bill of around ₹15k, this was nowhere

This place does not deserve the 5-star tag. The service is careless and arrogant at every step. We were constantly brushed off when we asked for help, whether it was for food, cleaning, or basic hospitality. At dinner we were told how much food they thought was enough for us—what kind of nonsense is that? And after repeatedly requesting the room to be cleaned, the staff acted like we were bothering them, saying they only clean once a day. That’s not 5-star service, that’s budget hotel behavior. The so-called “facilities” are just for show: a 24/7 gym with no staff, a pool with no instructor, and a games room that gets closed whenever staff feel like it. Even at checkout, they couldn’t provide two water bottles without charging for them. Overall, the staff attitude is unprofessional and completely ruins the experience. Feels like a 2-star property hiding behind fancy branding. Definitely not worth the money.

Visited this resort to attend a engagement event. The hall named Horizon 1 had to phone signal and there was no wifi as well. So when you plan to visit make sure the resort provides wifi.

Rooms are clean, Breakfast spread was okish ,as its inclusive with rooms quality wasn’t good. Kayaking and coracle rides are available. Spa is always fully occupied. Property is maintained well, Full justice to luxury! But Please do not host any event here. The guests are not treated well. Full of restrictions. People who host event/ wedding do not get a room to change which is really bad. Checkout of rooms were literally like throwing us out of the rooms. Multiple calls and staffs asking every now and then to vacate the rooms before checkout time. They do not know how to treat event guests who have room occupancy with an infant. Event room is next to kids play section where few event kids were allowed and few were not. Management needs some serious classes.

The reception people dont know how to treat guests. The reception lady kept on calling for vacating room at 9 am itself. The resort have checkout at 11am which is worst checkout time they made us wait for checkin even when we came late. They made us to cancel spa session in the morning because it was going to extend the checkout time by 30min. No proper room assistance, we ended up carrying our luggage till parking lot ourself. No manners for the front office people.

We went to Kimmane for a strol and have some drinks at their bar Quarter. And wow they took 25 mins to bring 2 pints of beer. We ordered for a mojito and they gave a virgin mojito. When we asked for the bill, they gave us a bill of 3k that was not even ours. Then when they gave our bill after ten mins of shouting on the counter they had added money for the unopened mineral bottle. Horrible experience. Ideal example of naam bade aur darshan chote.

No proper service, too arrogant staff it’s not a resort more like a hostel. No room service after 8pm. Food is worst and the staff don’t listen to the requests properly, eventually at night had to order food at a place and send our driver to collect and bring to my room @9pm which is like a the worst thing while u stay at a resort. The service is so terrible for it to be called a resort. We asked for water @9pm and the same was denied. Had to send our driver out to buy water and drink it. Water is not a basic need at Kimmane.

We visited the hotel's restaurant for our father's birthday celebration. It was a chaotic experience. The waiters are overworked. They are always in hurry and forget the orders. We almost waited for 30+ minutes for second round of rotis to come and then another 40 minutes for rice to come. Ambience is definitely 5 star and hence the high priced dishes. But the hospitality should also reflect that. They should not open dine-in if their kitchen and staff cannot handle the orders. Ultimately the experience gets ruined and even after spending 10k+ over a dinner we don't get the worth.

Restaurant review: There were around 25 people who were celebrating a birthday when I visited. All dressed in posh clothes and makeup but no manners at all. So my suggestion to the management is to provide banquet hall for all kinds of small and big celebrations as others are also paying the same amount of money to have a good time with their families. Staff could be more attentive when taking orders. They were all in some kind of hurry and confusion. Food, specially appetizers could be so much better. Plates and cutlery could be cleaner. Overall, NOT AT All a fine dining experience. Disappointed in many ways
