The host is not trust worthy and loyal. I booked a stay via Airbnb and after confirming the booking the host indirectly asks us to cancel as it’s year end and he has high demand during year end. Why is he open of accepting the bookings in the first place. I would never recommend someone who shows this kind of behaviour as host

They gave me room on ground floor which was dark and looked like dormitory with 4-5 cots, they had 3 nice room on first floor which were all empty but i was told by uncle..rooms reserved for guests arriving next day I requested for room on first floor, aunty allowed for sometime on condition not to mess it, had to take all belonging and bedsheeet pillow there to first floor Later they allowed me to continue on first floor since other guest would come late I booked directly via phone and paid full amount in advance, would not recommend this place

Pleasant stay. Spacious. Total 4 bedrooms, 2 in Ground floor and 2 in first. Can Easily accommodate (6 + 4 + 4 + 4) 18+ members. You can get the phone number from the photo sign board Food is not so great. Not much tasty. But a good home-made food. Finding the place is bit challenging. The location is correct, but the route showed by google maps is not correct, as the connecting roads to the home stay is not updated. You can set your destination to “Mudremane Coffee & Spices” and you can find a small yellow sign board in the main road itself which will take you to Janapriya home stay ( Just 250 Meters on left when you are standing facing Mudremane Coffee entrance). You can see the connecting road in satellite view. The owner and Staff are very friendly and they are customizing the cooking as per the need. You can walk through the coffee plantation and reach a small fishing pond in around 300 meters. We wend on Dec end and its was not so great, and its around 20C only. Nighttime we felt bit cold. So cannot be able to enjoy a cold weather.

We had an amazing stay at Janapriya Homestay in Chikmagalur. Uncle and aunty were extremely warm, kind, and welcoming. Even though we stayed in the same house, they gave us complete freedom and never made us feel restricted in any way. Aunty’s home-cooked food was absolutely delicious, and all the arrangements were very well taken care of. The hospitality truly made us feel at home. Highly recommend this homestay to anyone planning a Chikmagalur trip. A perfect home away from home!

Where to start? It was more than just a stay at this place. Starting from greeting us when we have reached, the hospitality was wonderful. Spacious room, hall and the house as a whole. Aunty is a very friendly and caring person, a person who asks what food we want for the next meal and program it along with us to provide, healthy and tasty food to fill our tummy.
