Beware of this hotel if you have booked through Club Mahindra. They will call 1 day before the check in date and claim some nonsense electrical problem in room. Then they will use that as an excuse to accommodate in some third class hotel in Hospet. That is so far away from Hampi. They did all this for a booking which was done 3 months in advance. Never.. I repeat, NEVER book this hotel. Unethical people will just waste your time and spoil your trip. They informed about all this after I had already started for Hampi. I had to book other places in emergency at such high prices because of this hotel's unfair business practices. Would have given negative stars if Google allowed.

The property is undeniably beautiful and expansive, and the rooms are well-designed. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to poor maintenance and weak management. Room doors did not lock properly, some were jammed, and basic things like towel racks were loose or falling off. Housekeeping was unresponsive despite repeated requests. The restaurant staff appeared unprofessional, with little awareness of ongoing orders or service flow. Although the food itself was tasty, the waiting time was atleast 45 mins to 1 hour for basic appetizers. Despite opting for a meal plan there was no buffet, and guests were compelled to order ala carte from a very limited menu. Restaurant was clearly short staffed and guests were not attended promptly. The reception team also seemed uninformed, with no coordination between departments. Long waits for buggies added further inconvenience. A major concern was the treatment of drivers. No restroom facilities were provided for them, and the staff behaved dismissively. Overall, it looks like a 5 star property but the service and management makes it feel like a 3 star. Not worth the hype

I couldn't give a zero, so I reluctantly settled for one star. This property may be in a decent location, but it’s clearly in the hands of incompetent management. I made at least seven futile attempts to contact the hotel after booking the room, and not once did anyone bother to pick up the phone. Pathetic! You’ll be lucky to see a welcome drink here. If you want one, you’ll need to scavenge for it in some remote corner of the reception lobby. After shelling out a ridiculous amount for the room, you’ll feel completely ripped off by the tiny room size and nonexistent amenities. For three people, they provided a mere two pairs of bathroom slippers. Seriously? The biggest scam of the resort is the so-called Royal Indian Thali. It’s an insult to Rajasthani cuisine with its terrible taste and pathetic variety—half of what you’d find at any decent Rajasthani restaurant. The server may act enthusiastic, but the truth is revealed when you take a bite—bland and disgusting. I waited a ridiculous 20 minutes for an electrical buggy to help with my luggage while checking out, but it never showed up. In short, steer clear of these fake resorts that think they can fool customers. The management

The resort property is quite good and modern. Location is convenient to reach town bypassing highways and also to reach the monuments within reasonable time. Also the cultural program at the resort was good. But the staff at this resort is absolutely horrendous. We stayed at this place for a day in Dec 25 and the overall experience was poor to say the least. We paid 17k for an ordinary room at this resort and value provided by the resort was not even worth half of that cost. 1. The behaviour of the lady at reception was very immature. She seemed completely unbothered about welcoming guests and was tapping fingures at the desk rather than attending to guests. 2. Elevator wasn't working when we arrived so has to carry luggage over the staircase ourselves. 3. There was some 'gala' planned at the resort and they used it as an excuse to not provide room service to guests. And that so-called gala was nothing more than a normal third grade ordinary dinner plate for which all guests had to queue up. 4. There was only one blanket in the room and when an extra blankate was requested for our child, the answer from resort was - Only one blanket is provided per room. Sounded like a dormitory

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and 2 days, and unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing in terms of service. I have never encountered such poor service in any so-called 4-star or 5-star hotel before. There are only two good things about this property: 1️⃣ The exterior ambience is nice 2️⃣ The hotel is not very far from major tourist attractions Apart from these two points, there is nothing positive to mention about this hotel. Every morning, I pressed the “Clean My Room” button before leaving, but even by evening the room remained exactly the same. There was no cleaning, no replacement of water bottles, no fresh towels—nothing at all. On the first day, after calling the reception three times, housekeeping was sent after almost 1.5 hours. Even then, they only arranged the room superficially and left the bathroom dirty. On the second day, when we returned in the evening, the situation was again the same—no room cleaning, no amenities. By then, we had completely lost our expectations and only asked them to provide towels and water. When we asked the staff why the room was not cleaned, the response was simply, “We were busy.” This raises a serious question—what are

Staff shortage - Breakfast was late, little variety and average taste - Swimming pool is good. Every other activity is pathetic - Spa was closed due to no staff - Entertainment area was always deserted with no body to entertain the guests. - Old table tennis table with poor lighting in the room. And charging 500 Rs per hour. - Rooms are small with old fittings

WORST Service EVER !!!!!! They charged 175 + GST for 1 glass of milk for our baby, this is insane. >> Its a Jain Resort, so only veg food, but the problem is the restaurant service was so pathetic, that they were not even ready to take our order. >> Any item we requested was not available, finally we had to ask what was available? For which we got a cold stare from the waiter. it seemed as though he did not want us to order. >> I passed on this feedback to the Hospitality Manager, for which his reaction was "We will look into it Sir". Thats it and they continued their usual way of serving. >> A simple request to get a glass to drink water was not adhered even after multiple requests, finally we gave up and had to get it ourselves. >> The rooms are very old and are in need of a upgrade. >> The washrooms were very smelly. >> The room service was pathetic. >> Zero value for money for the price that they are charging. Better avoid this place.

Honest review 2.5/10….. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE !!!! We (3 couples with kid) had booked 4 nights around Christmas time, since it was peak season, Vijayshree team forced us to buy meal plan along with the rooms. That had dinner included in our stay. They charged us a bomb but did not put Bisleri bottles in the room. They had given water in glass bottles which were very poorly maintained. The coffee mugs in the mugs were old and disgusting. They had stain marks all over them. On the very 1st day, after having dinner 5 out of 6 of us were down with the food poisoning. We were puking and vomiting. Later when we complained to the OM Mr. Bakshi, he said it can’t be food but probably the water that was responsible for this !!! I asked to speak to the owner of this place but never got his contact number. I hope he reads this and realises that his property is sooo poorly. managed Don’t be fooled by photos online. This place is really outdated. The bathrooms are ugly and need A LOT of maintenance!!! Food is TERRIBLE !!!!

ABSOLUTE SCAM DISGUISED AS A 5-STAR HOTEL I rarely write such harsh reviews, but my stay at Vijayashree Resort & Heritage Village was one of the worst hospitality experiences of my life. We paid ₹18,000 per night per room and booked 2 rooms for the night of the 29th. Calling this place a scam may sound exaggerated—but read on to understand why. Not Even Basic Hospitality While the property infrastructure looks good, it is completely ruined by zero maintenance and pathetic service. This hotel operates like a third-grade lodge charging 5-star prices. >No towels in the room on arrival. Had to request multiple times. >Intercom was not working and remained unfixed despite repeated complaints. >Room doors don’t close properly—the mechanism is jammed, the wood is worn out, and anyone can easily peek inside. This is a serious privacy and safety issue, unacceptable for a so-called luxury resort. >For ₹18,000 a night, there were no laundry bags, no comb, no vanity items—just a basic toothpaste and soap gel. Incompetent Room Service & Restaurant >Tea bags were missing and were never refilled despite multiple calls. I literally had to borrow tea bags from a nearby room. >Wi-Fi password wa

Food service is very bad both in restaurant and room service. The served daily same items in breakfast during our stay. Their buggy service is not reliable and I could never get it on time despite multiple requests, during my stay for 2 days, i had to walk with luggage and kids to reach my room. No help or assistance provided at checkin to handle the luggage or even to guide to room. Not at all worth the price paid. Location is very remote and you need to travel a lot to visit tourist places

The resort is beautiful. But the service is equally horrible. The food is awful. Overall experience is beyond bad. We stayed for 4 nights.. paid over 15k per night. The room had blinders which was not working. The staff kept on fixing it everyday and it was not fixed till the last day also. The water flow in the washbasin was so low that to wash hands you have to wait for 10 mins. The hand shower in the bathroom kept on leaking so even if you are there for just washing your feets you will end up drenching yourself completely. The service is so bad that it's unfair that google doesn't provide negative ratings, else I would have given that to this resort. Same menu everyday but that is also not an issue if it is prepared properly. Bunch of newbies who don't even know how much salt to put are sitting in their kitchen and preparing whatever they can. Not even a single dish which anyone can say that yes this is good. Have just one baby chair in the whole resort and that too so dirty that you will hate touching it. The staff is not even divided properly. The one who is cleaning, is also serving. In the name of cleaning the table, they just wipe it with tissue paper and throw everything o

Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED I visited during my recent Christmas Holidays and they ruined my hard earned money and family holiday. I don't know exactly from where I should start. Except property in 21 acres they don't have anything on the name of 5 star property. Any road side lodge provide far better services and facilities. Food: Very Unhygenic and very limited option Service and Management: Worst Rooms: Very dirty I never ever recommend this property to any one. Please don't waste your money. This is not just my views, since I checked in to check out, every other person was complaining the same. They just have simple answer as Sorry and we'll fix it.

Worst “5-Star” Resort Ever – Complete Scam Vijayshree Resort Hampi is an absolute fraud in the name of a 5-star property. I paid a huge amount expecting luxury, but what I got was a cheap, third-class experience. I visited on Christmas with my family, and the resort completely ruined our celebration. The room was not ready on arrival, and when it was finally given, the washroom was dirty and unhygienic. This itself shows the pathetic standards they maintain. The service is disgustingly slow. Reception and housekeeping do not pick up calls at all. The staff is shockingly inadequate, clearly untrained, and there is ZERO management. This was hands down the worst management I have ever seen in any hotel or resort. For the ridiculous amount they charge, the breakfast and dinner options were extremely poor and limited. This is not even 3-star level, forget 5-star. No variety, no quality, nothing close to what you expect after paying so much. Whenever we complained, all they did was say “sorry”—no solution, no effort, no accountability. Saying sorry doesn’t justify wasting people’s money and ruining family occasions. I strongly warn everyone: DO NOT waste your time, money, or specia

It was the worst experience i ever had , that too for the price that i paid. 75,000 for 4 people for Raya rooms. 1. We weren't told about the difference between Raja and Rani mahal in Raya rooms and they gave a room which wasn't having any view. The only view we had was the parking. Sadly. And we booked it for November 4th . Peak season. And booked 4 months back in August. 2. They did not have any folk performance and any entertainment activities happening there in the peak season whereas we were told that they do have it everyday in the evening. In a place as dry as Hampi , evening definitely a person on vacation at such a place would expect some entertainment. 3. Their pool was all dirty and wasnt clean at all 4. Games area opened at 9 am and closed at 6 pm. Now how can they expect someone to be in the hotel by 6 pm in Hampi where people go for viewing the old ruins and all . 5. Spa was overpriced and after spending so much on the stay why would someone spend on such a expensive spa . Rs 7000 it was for one person. 6. Food was pathetic and very bad for the cost that you pay. 7. Buffet had so less options and food wasn't cooked properly.
