This is not an international Hotel. Property people will try to loot you by any chance. Unfit for hospitality domain. If they find that you are a tourist then they will play different kind of drama to empty your pocket. Worst front desk service. They are arrogant and they don't have any sense of hospitality. They change rules and tariffs however they want. They try to fool you if you are a tourist. No proper wifi and no room cleaning after a day stay. Restaurant Room service is worst too. It took more than 30 mins for just coffee/tea delivery. No proper welcome behaviour with guest/tourist. No time maintainace ..

Dear friends, Let me share my bad experience with the front office staff and un-professional attitude with arrogance by their staff. Let me put them in points 1. Room rent per night is ex-aggregated to squeeze max from innocent tourist/customers. 2. The staff think that they are the boss and never listen to customer concern with regard to reduce the tariff and give some extra benefits. 3. Very rude and hard local temper while they talk, gesture etc. 4. When you go out for personal visits etc. they enter your room without informing or calling us. This is ridiculous, do you call this an International standard? Will you pay for any loss money etc.?? 5. When other hotels nearby are giving 1.water bottles, 2. Complementary Breakfast etc. same tariff per night. Also, they gave stupid reason when your tariff is too high in town. So, shame on being so profit oriented and saving on cost of this simple needs of a visitor. 6. Coming to room cleanliness - very bad. not cleaned. 7. Bed sheets were not replaced, Washrooms were not cleaned or sanitized. 8. No room service, Everything is charged EXTRA. 9. No internet, TV not working. 10. No magazines,news paper to read. As we entered into the premises, we had to solve the parking issue on our own. Parking is next to a smelly vacant land! After we managed to resolve the parking issue, we were put into a temporary holding room that was dirty (despite reserving in advance). After a couple of hours, they moved us into another room which was also dirty and not well maintained. The sheets and comforters were old and dirty and we replaced them with our own.||||We tried the food at the adjoining Kamat hotel. The food is average and pricey! We tried the Udupi Veg Restaurant just apposite and I totally recommend that - much cheaper and the taste is much better and they have courteous staff! We left the next day after once again working out the parking issue.

I booked my 3 night stay with Agoda. Com at this particular hotel for my fiance and I. On arrival I asked the receptionist about the complimentary breakfast and we were told that we need to walk across the road to another hotel to have breakfast. I could not understand why, it didn't make sense to walk for 5minutes across an extremely busy street to go have breakfast at another hotel. I then asked to see the manager, and in the mean time we got to our room then went to kamath restaurant in the hotel for lunch. On returning to the desk to clarify the breakfast I was told to speak to the manager who wasn't even looking at me. I introduced myself to him and he ignored me and said go stay at the other hotel and I still couldn't understand why and which hotel. I said I booked at this hotel. He then proceeded to cancel my booking, ordered the porters to remove my bags and asked us to get out of the hotel coz they don't accept unmarried people. I said he had no right to do that and that it's not mentioned on agoda about this policy. He verbally abused me and my fiance as if I was off the street. I am a professional military officer working in the gulf who came to bijapur to make arrangeme

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at. Dirty would be the word I would use to describe this hotel. The hotel stinks, the parking lot stinks, the towels and bed sheets have stains on them. I got dust allergy from using the AC in the room. The washroom and sink don't appear to have been cleaned since the hotel started. And every room comes with a balcony infested with insects. For a hotel this dirty they are priced at 2000 per night for an AC room. I would say thats a lot to pay to get yourself infected with diseases. We couldn't change the room because all other rooms/hotels were booked due to a medical conference. Please do your research before coming to this hotel. I wouldn't stay at this hotel even as the last resort. It's horrible!

Not a Good place to stay. Very Old Building. Rooms are very Old Styled. Maintenance of the premises needs improvement. Rooms are very Dusty, especially AC Rooms. Comforters in the AC Rooms seems to have been not cleaned periodically and raise a Cloud of Dust if you bother to test them. So Unhealthy. If we complain, they very reluctantly change it with a lesser dusty one. Restaurent (Kamat Hotel) at the Ground Floor is Ok. Food is of Good quality. That's the only consolation. Room Tariff is totally on the Higher side considering the Conditions at the Hotel. For that rate, we can surely get a Neat, Clean accommodation.

After we finally managed to resolve the parking issue, the manager at the reception put us into a holding room that was dirty and not cleaned up. We approached him and asked him to put us into a permanent clean room. He said there were no rooms available! This is given the fact that we had confirmed booking in advance. We then ventured around Bijapur and found at-least 3 hotels that were cleaner than this hotel at lesser prices. We informed the manager that we were moving out and he said we had to pay the entire amount if we moved out (for just looking at their room for 10 minutes!). So now, we had no choice but negotiated hard for a cleaner room. Finally, they moved us into a slightly better room. We tried the food at the adjoining Kamat hotel. For food that is neither tasty or healthy, the cost is pricey! We tried the Udupi Veg Restaurant just apposite and I totally recommend that - much cheaper rates and the taste is much better and they have courteous staff! We left the next day a
