I was hoping govt owned resort will be good. But they proved me wrong. Location and staff are good there is no feedback for that. But believe me room maintenance is very bad. Opted for igloo house. It was pathetic, molds everywhere,ac not working properly, taps not in good condition. After our they changed the room, it was better but still molds didn't leave. Paying high cost of 7k nd getting this service is very bad

The location of KSTDC Kaveri River View is undeniably beautiful, with breathtaking views of the river that make it a truly special place. Unfortunately, the overall experience is significantly let down by very poor management and upkeep. The staff were largely unresponsive, and basic hospitality standards were missing. Rooms were not cleaned properly, bathroom fittings are outdated and in several cases not functioning well, and overall cleanliness across the property is a major concern. This is especially disappointing given that this is positioned as a premium Karnataka Government resort. Complimentary Breakfast was another major let-down. The spread was extremely limited, basic items like bread and butter were missing, omelettes were chargeable, and even tea/coffee refills took an unreasonably long time. It is disheartening to see such a beautiful property deteriorate year after year due to neglect. With proper maintenance, staff training, and attention to cleanliness, this place could truly live up to its potential. Sadly, in its current state, it falls far short of expectations.

Very poorly managed facility.Rooms are pretty dirty. Linens are not washed. Broken wash basin and shower units. We stayed in cottages almost Rs.4000. People managing the facility absolutely have no taste of hospitality. Just work like government employees. Right from the restaurant employee to each and everyone we are interacted show no curtsey ownership. The facility supposed to have security in the night but unfortunately we didnt see anyone at sercurity kiosk during the night. Outsiders were roaming around the facility disturbing our sleep but no one was there to address. Early morning when we check with security he was blaming some one else for the mess. Over all horrible experience. Forget to say that there were many cockroaches in the room. Not even Rs.100 breakfast.

Rooms : pathetic condition . Walls are peeling off , washrooms are broken , ac does not work , fan doesn’t work, door locks don’t work , rusted balconies , stained walls , broken floor , old linen , dirty and substandard . Property : has been spoilt considerably from what it was vs what it is today. It “used to be a property that was really good but now it’s a rundown Unkept and dirty place . Ambiance : not worth it …. Spending 4K for a cottage here is a sheer waste . You can get a star property in Mysore at this price . The ambiance is also not great anymore . Worth it : definitely not . Looks like the Government is busy minting money but as usual not interested in giving back from whom it earns . DONT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE

Please do not go here if you are looking for vegetarian food. Service is pathetic..they do not care to give spoons also ..I had to personally walk to the kitchen to collect spoons and tissue.. they do not clean the tables 😭 worst experience 😞 only bonus points to this place is clean river which flows next to the restaurant..view is beautiful but food is really and service is bad

Pathetic staff, receptionist lady such arrogant does not even welcome , rooms are very small, Location 5 food and service worst. 1. Attitude of staff bad (one manager called by Chandriah man handles the waiter. Shouts in fronts of guests, dinning are is not well lit no lights at all 2. Rates are inclusive of breakfast -lousey breakfast only 4 iteams no bread butter also coffee are supplied in paper cups. When complained that we write to joint commissioner they brogut cups,Limited menu in dinner but menu card is big- it is good to have french fries 3. Rooms - power problem offten trips off showers didn't work, dust bins dont open , no fans on roof, 4. Value of money 1

We visited this property to have lunch on Sunday 27th July at 4 PM. We ordered simple food on the recommendation of the waiter. It was expected to be a quick meal and continue our journey. We waited till 4:45 PM, and nothing was served. We had to finally leave without eating anything. There was nobody responsible to address the issue, nor anybody cared. These kind of incidents bring a bad name to Government run set ups. Total negligence and apathy from the management. We met another group of guests who were walking in while we were leaving. They also expressed the same sentiments from their visit earlier. KSTDC has to view this matter seriously.

I’ll start from the time of booking. So I booked a wooden room which was 3 + 1 kid occupancy confirmed with the hotel that I had indeed booked and they confirmed. Now I reach the hotel and ask for room they see my mom and wife and say sir in the website you have booked for 1 occupancy and not 3, I said I paid in full for the room so how does it matter if it’s 3 or 1, the hotel says no sir the room rates charges as per occupancy. This is where I lose my patience and I asked so does the hotel has a policy of room sharing and they say no but if there is more occupant then it’s 1400 rupee extra per person. So now I paid 7087 for the room and then I paid 3500 for 2+1. ||Coming to the View, although you pay 10k for 1 room for night there is no river view in fact there is just dome view (another room).||Now Wi-Fi, they have put up a WiFi username and password in the reception but the catch is it’s only for reception not for the rooms. So no WiFi and the since the network is bad, god bless the people staying here.||Now Food, you will see lot of items on the menu but there is nothing available, No Roti, No Kulcha, No Tandoori items. If you ask for Rice and Rasam they say sir you won’t get t
