We stayed at Nandi Summer House for one night recently and loved the experience. The property seems brand new and was beautifully decorated. Lovely location right beside Nandi hills. The man at the reception (didn't get his name, unfortunately) told us about the trek up the hill that starts just a km away from the hotel. Enjoyed the trek up steps leading up the hill. Sadly we couldn't get all the way to the top because it was close to sunset. The dinner at the hotel was ala carte but delicious! Everything from khichdi and curd rice to the chicken curries were good. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and clean. And rooms 104 and 105 have huge balconies. All the usual amenities like coffee, tea, and electric kettle are available in the room. The only drawback was that the pool was too dirty to use when we visited but then it's the monsoons so that might have been why. Divya at the reception the next morning was very pleasant and helpful. All in all a good mini vacation.

Almost anyone can be a guest here, We came for lunch but had to leave without eating, such a loud crowd at the hotel, seems like there is nothing they can do about the noise.

This place a new place and is well maintained. The rooms are wonderful and spacious. It can accomodate 4 people. This is a wonderful place for families. The location is also great! It is in a foot hills of a small hillock near Nandi Hills. Had been there for a team outing. The rooms are maintained well. I will give 5/5 for rooms and location. Coming to the real deal! The reason I have given a 3 star is because of the food! The food was very sad. The complimentary breakfast was just sad... no verity and the food taste was not great. had Idili which was very hard, the vada was terrible.. coffee and tea was crappy. Dinner was even worse, the taste of paneer was the same as mushroom and chicken... If they improve the food, this place is a good place to visit, else it's not worth it.

If you are lookig for a perfect getaway from the hustle of Bangalore traffic, humid weather and seek peace and quiet then this is the place. The hotel being close to Nandi Hills is nestled amongst nature and has lots of activities to do in and around the hotel. We loved the comfortable, spacious rooms, with good, clean bathrooms. There is also a swimming pool in the rooftop for the kids to jump in and splash around. The food served was good and filling. Nandi Hills is close-by, few temples are around which is a must see some close to 1000 years old.

The place is very well maintained and staff is very polite. Value for money and very well located if you intend to trek to Nandi Hills. Food is tasty but only service is slow so plan your meals such that you give them like an hour and give them clear instructions on how you want your meals to be arranged.

Stayed here for 1 night from Jan 11-12, 2025. Booked via booking.com. Pros: 1. The location is fantastic with great views of Nandi and Channagiri Hills from the property. 2. The ambience is cozy and gives a unique colonial vibe. 3. We had the plunge pool on the terrace all to ourselves. It was clean, maintained well and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the pool for many hours. 4. The "Gulmohar Terrace", lounge, and roof-toop terrace were fantastic spots to simply relax with a drink, bask in the views, and simply talk. 5. Spacious rooms with 2 large king-beds. Cons: 1. We booked a room via booking.com and the room alloted to us did not have a balcony when the website mentioned it explicitly. We found this at the time of check-in; better to call the property beforehand to avoid any surprises. It was kind of the two lady staff members to apologize to us; they couldn't offer a better room since they were sold out that night. 2. The room could have been maintained better. The toilet pot was not cleaned well and had stains inside. The bathroom also had many cobwebs near the exhaust fan. We did not bother too much with calling someone to clean it since it was just 1 night of use for us

The stay was great. Had 4 members and the beds were quite spacious. The region it is nestled is an absolute beauty, so that is something you wouldn't regret. The Hills are right next to the Hotel. The staff were helpful, I gave a 4 rating as only the food was average, when compared to all other aspects. Have given this feedback to the staff and hopefully in my next visit they have worked on improving this aspect.

Fantastic location, nestled at the foothills of Nandi. Beautiful views from room balconies that can accommodate 3-4 adults. Not much in terms of activities or services, but it is decent. Food is above average.

I had an amazing experience during my stay this summer with my friends in Chikkaballapur. The resort is located away from the hustle and bustle of the city in a tranquil town. I liked promptness to service by the staff. The rooms were hygienically maintained and the views over looking the Nandi hills were breathtaking!! the swimming pool facilities available were uncontaminated and overall my experience was extremely relaxing and fun.

Excellent location in the middle of hilly forests, but easily accessible. Unique decor, charming building. There's a small lawn with some fun activities and a rooftop pool. The rooms are HUGE, our heritage room could easily accommodate 4-5 adults in two large beds. Only reason I am not marking this as 5 star is because no tandoor items were available and there's no option of fish in the menu. Overall, a great place to relax for a day or two. Note: no alcohol available, but they can arrange it for an extra charge, and wine shops are available within 3-4 kms.

Rooms and Location are perfect. Ample parking space, quiet area. Great experience overall. Small issue was food. While the food was decent, it didn't match the other standards of the place. Example - In the breakfast buffet, the coffee and tea felt watered down. Idlis were thin and flat. They didn't provide salt and pepper at tables (for boiled eggs in my case). Hope that you are able to fix this soon and I would have a better experience the next time I visit :)
