“First thing never judge a hostel based on old reviews . I had three years in my hostel 2022-2025 . Fees from 60000 - 64000 in last year . (This year it's 70000) Pros: 1) Good Rooms , with Two fans and no restriction for using fan or light in your room (basically telling unlimited access for fan and light ). 2) each floor has two section of bathrooms , one section contains more than 12 bathroom each and 6 washing stone and 5 wash basin . Cons: 1) Not value for money : Hostel fees is very costly compared to the facility available . 2) food : By far I never ate worse food than this hostel . They know to cook very well but won't cook well unless it's admission time , special camp going on or other reasons . Most of the time food is not good . 3) Not suggested for keralites 4) worse menu : Morning: Monday : palav (good) Tuesday : Set dose(ok ) (I doubt when they changed the oil last time ?) Wednesday: Tomato rice (adjustable) Thursday: Idli (worst ) ( check the waste bin you will notice how much people like the hostel idli ) Friday: puliyogre (again worst ) Saturday : chapati (sometimes half cooked and sometimes very thick ) Sunday : Oval shaped masala dosa having a little bit baji in c”
