KACES is one of the best and affordable hostels in Mangalore city. It has all basic facilities. There is a play ground in the hostel premises, where all type of outdoor games and sports are being played. There is a semi-indoor badminton court and an indoor table-tennis court. The hostel is just a 100 mts away from the highway. Hostel is surrounded by trees and plants, which gives us a peaceful away-from-city feel. But the food here is not worth the money.

Food is not at all good rooms are comfy and spacious. They return only 50% of FD i.e 9000. They take extra 4000 as FD every year other than the first year. If you can afford these you can go for it. There is playground and hostel day is conducted every year.

It's one of the oldest hostels in Mangalore, provides decent food and accommodation at reasonable prices; has got double room and single room facilities. Food is OK for even Malayalees but not too great. The most unique about this hotel is that, it is totally surrounded with trees, birds and squirrels, completely a different experience in the midst of a huge city like Mangalore.
