I booked a private room here thinking it would be clean since the place had very high reviews for cleanliness. However, I was disappointed as the bathroom was dirty with hair on the floor. The room itself was okay but the view was just the wall of the next building. I didn't use any of their other areas since I was pretty disappointed with the room. The reception desk was always empty and the staff didn't really seem interested in their job. All in all, it was a 1.5/5 experience. I will not be staying here again and will not recommend to anyone.

Terrible Hostel Staff ( three men) smoking Weed most of the day ... Taking up most of the upstairs common space and smoking stinky weed. Upstairs stinks.. and it's right next to the kitchen while you are cooking you can smell stinky weed. Would be a great hostel.. but the three men are spoiling it for guests. No places to chill without people smoking... This needs to change.. then will be nice

We are 5 members recently stayed at Beedu hostel from 18/10/2024 to 20/10/2024 & it was thoroughly disappointed They’re having so many restrictions it’s not gud for friends , unhygienic kitchen, smelly rooms, and cockroach on the bed. wasn't much of a social atmosphere.

No lockers, no soap, no laundry service, no mosquito protection. I got a few mosquito bites in just one night as they were coming into the room from the bathroom, which had broken windows. I left after one night even though I booked for three.

If you want to spend little money, does not mind the noise and does not care much about cleanliness in the communal areas, the hostel is cute, located on a noisy street with traffic but very convenient. The dorms are cheap and people seemed to enjoy their stay. If you are in Mysore to go to yoga classes early in the morning, I don’t recommend Beedu. I stayed in the twin and economy rooms, both overlooking the main street and I had to leave before the end of my stay without a refund as I couldn’t sleep. The AC was turning on and off on its own at night. The owner pretends to be understanding but was somewhat disrespectful towards me when I explained I want to leave because of the noise. He refunded me one night of my 3 remaining nights and made me go to the hotel 6 times just to receive the money and in the end not even the amount he’d promised….. And I am not too sure about the cleanliness of the blankets. The kitchen has the necessary items for a basic prep. (If no one else wants to cook at the same time as you) but it is a bit of a disaster, dirty and with broken items. There is filtered water on each floor, which is handy. Had a nice short stay in the Beedu Hostel. Not really a social or party hostel, which my girlfriend and I appreciated. The kitchen is quite basic, but is fine for light cooking. The rooftop is simple and chill. It’s very walkable to a lot of the western-style cafes in the Gokulam neighborhood. The private room was a great value, clean and comfortable. The guys that run it let us keep our bags there and hang out well after checkout while we were waiting on our bus. Overall, nothing spectacular about the Beedu Hostel but it’s a nice, relaxed and affordable place in a good neighborhood

The hostel is cute, rooms are clean, the owners are nice. You can’t close the dorm door and there is no locker to place your belongings. I felt quite safe even tho the staff can go in&out of the dorm if they need to. There is a chill area on the terrace 3rd floor and kitchen where you can cook your own meal and I really appreciate it! I gave 4 stars bc the chill and kitchen/fridge could be kept much more clean from both hosts and guests. Overall I would go back again, I met super cool people!!

The place is good for the budget stay but also slightly on the costlier side. Rooms are clean but bathroom is not that clean. I booked 5 beds in a 6 bed setup (3 bunk beds) and hence we have privacy, so no issue for us as we used it as our private room. There is contact number for reception desk, if you are on top floor, you have to go downstairs every time you want something. Staff is good, no issue on that part but also to note There is no car parking. You have to park your car on roadside which I am worried about at night so I parked it adjesent to a house next to hotel. There is WiFi access with 30Mbps of speed which you can utilise too. Overall above average experience, a 4/5 is good. You will not be disappointed if you are staying here.

The ambience of this stay was awesome, the staff were so friendly, and the maintenance was top-notch. I had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay in mysore. The stay is perfectly located, providing easy access to local attractions. I would definitely recommend this place to fellow travelers. The only minor drawback was the lack of in-room locks in the dormitory rooms.
