Disgusting & Unacceptable Absolutely horrible experience at Octave Double Road. We checked in at 11:15 pm with our 6-year-old child, only to be given a room infested with cockroaches and insects. When we complained, the receptionist showed us two more rooms and both were equally filthy, with cockroaches crawling around. This clearly shows zero hygiene standards and no room maintenance at all. Despite the unsafe and unhygienic conditions, the staff refused to provide a refund and showed complete lack of concern, even after seeing we had a small child. Their attitude was careless and irresponsible. This place is NOT FIT for families or even solo travelers. Dirty rooms, arrogant staff, no accountability. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

We booked a double room for 2 nights from 15th Of August to 17th of August (checking out) at this Octave Hotel property at Double Road. Lets start from the reception....no proper receptionist at the counter. He did not allow us first saying we have not booked any rooms, which was not right. We had to keep insisting to speak to someone responsible.After about 45 mins.of waiting and arguing we were shown several rooms on the 4th floor.The only thing working was the lift .Payment has to be made at the counter before checking in, then we were shown rooms to decide which one although we were given a voucher saying super deluxe room with breakfast. Please do not ever make this mistake of booking at this hotel.The rooms( most of the door lock broken) in the 4th floor where they were showing us to choose which room to give us,in all the rooms the TV was not working, the bed sheets were not washed, the floor was full of small size cockroaches and the entire room smelt very bad, asked for room freshner, they did not have one. The bathroom had a wash basin which was totally full of filth and once the tap was on instead of water flowing down the pipe everything with a lot of dirt and food p

We have booked suit room for family accommadation with kids, after we check in horrible bad smell in the floor corridor and inside room as well. When we complained about this, we got response by just spraying room freshner and asked us to open window doors fpr some time. When I called up reception person for solution of my problem, he suggested for another room which is also having same bad smell inside room. Finally I had discussion with Manager for a possible solution, he was very harsh and not ready to cancel and pay back my money. Since it was already 10 pm, I just walked out of hotel with time and money loss.||||Only 1 towel provided, asked us to wait till next day morning to get additional towel||No water bottles provided||No proper ventilation in the room||Stain marks on room walls||Terible bad smell in floor corridor

I wanted to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with our recent stay at your hotel. The receptionist's behavior was rude and unwelcome, which set a terrible tone for the rest of our stay. The rooms were infested with cockroaches, both in the washroom and the living area, and the A/C wasn't working properly. To add to the misery, the mirrors were dirty, and the water tub in the washroom was non-functional. After paying a sum of ₹9000, I expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel were severely lacking, making our stay a horrible experience. We'll definitely not be recommending your hotel to anyone.

My experience with Octave Hotel Double Road has been horrible. I had a room booked for 24th October, 1 PM, which I cancelled on 23rd October at 12 PM—a full 24 hours before check-in. According to their own policy, I was clearly eligible for a refund. I personally contacted the manager, and he assured me multiple times that my refund would be processed. He even took my bank details, which made me believe the hotel was handling things responsibly. Unfortunately, it has now been more than a month, and I have still not received a single update or refund. What’s worse is the complete lack of response and accountability from the hotel. No follow-up, no explanation, nothing. This is not the level of professionalism or honesty I expect from any hotel. I am deeply disappointed with the way this was handled, and I would strongly advise others to reconsider before booking here.

First of all the room they gave us was not at all cleaned. Toilets were dirty, there was used razor in bathroom and used plastic covers in cupboard, the floor was sticky and when we walked bare foot on floor our feets were black with dirt. Second thing, the booking included toiletries. They did not even provide a toilet papper, tooth paste or brush only liquid soap was there which was same as the handwash liquid ( felt like wasn’t changed for years) Third thing i complained the same during checkin they said other rooms not available and told to ADJUST till next day they will clean the rooms and give. When i arrived to the room again next day the situation was same only bedding was done. Later on complaining to the hotel manager he gave us other room which was ok but washroom was still unclean and had cockroaches. Overall our stay was spoiled and time was wasted coz of rooms

The toilet is so smelly and not good. Also when I came in the morning just before the check in time, the boy in the reception was very insensitive. The response was bad. When I asked for restroom as I was very urgent to pee, the boy said no. You cannot use restroom until u check in. This was very ridiculous as all hotels should have a common restroom. Over all the room had cockroaches. It was smelly.

Service was absolutely horrible. They’ve clearly recruited a bunch of people who look like smiling costs extra. In the hospitality industry, basic courtesy shouldn’t feel like a hostage situation. The staff acted like someone had a gun to their head just to make them work. The room? A nightmare. Cockroaches crawling around like they paid rent. Calling this place a 3-star hotel is pure comedy — maybe in the 1800s. The bed covers looked ancient, and the whole vibe screamed “abandoned museum exhibit.” Save yourself the trauma

I have stayed here a few times and the experience was horrible. Dirty unclean rooms, especially the washrooms. Cockroaches were found. This time i had requested for early checkin at 4.30am, but was denied checkin though i was ready to pay extra charges. I was told that hotel opens at 6.30am only. Im not sure if thats the case truly or not. But the staff attitude and behaviour is unwelcome and rude.

Had bad experienced. We had booked room for 3 hours that’s from 2 PM to 5 PM and reached the location 20 minutes early and to get a room they asked 350 extra for that 20 minutes later they provided the room at 2:15 saying rooms were not available we were waiting for 30 minutes but people who came after us they got their rooms with no waiting time when we asked the answer was they stay for 24 hour’s can’t make them wait so people who book rooms for hour’s there’s no value last minute we got a room who just vacated and that room was so horrible no tissue no towels washroom was horrible i have been a regular customer for year’s but this time it was very bad experience completely disappointed difficulty not visiting again 👎👎👎

The hotel location is good but i has a very bad experience The room is stinking and the wash rooms are really having bad smell snd inspite of informing the reception nothing changed The hotel service is very very poor inspite of high charges They di not respond I had informed earlier fir an early check in by phone and the person who arrended phone told on extra payment i will be given and i informed the time of arrival. But when i arrived they did not agree this The manager of this property has no value for a customer. He is the person who needs to be trained how to handle customer and also to keep clean the hotel This property is the wirst experience i had inspite of booking through booking.com Im very dissappined to see how booking.com takes this kind of property in their site None of the staff are polite and do not lnow how how to handle and mireover the manager himself is like that I recommend nobody should stay here

I had a really bad experience. Even after getting permission for an early check-in and booking the room, the service boy made us pay extra. The room was very dirty and not at all neat. The AC was leaking water, the mini-refrigerator was leaking water, and the bathroom was the worst—it wasn't clean at all.
