I can't comment on the rooms, or location as we were not given the opportunity to stay long enough or view the accommodation. My wife and I are international travellers having stayed at all kinds of accommodation from campsites to the Leela in Mumbai and the Taj in Bangalore! My wife and I were touring Mulki yesterday 21 March 26,with our 82 year old Aunty and came across this 'resort'on Google. The photos looked very attractive and so we thought we'd drive to the location and check it out, perhaps have a drink if available and explore the surroundings. We had hardly parked the car and got out when, apart from two polite staff in blue uniform, we were approached by a female "assistant manager" who seemed to have taken an immediate disfavour with us and growled as to what we were doing there. No welcome, no pleasantries- in fact, she went on to inform us that, that was a resort and not an hotel when I enquired about any seating area from where we might relax and enjoy the establishment. Having been suitably admonished for visiting, we were made to feel extremely uncomfortable and left immediately. To the proprietors, I would suggest locking the gates to prevent future business tu

If i could give negative ratings to Food. We have never had this level of worst food in a resort. Also the resort was over crowded with specific community. There was no hot water available.

We were a family of 4 adults who stayed at Tierra for 5 nights in March 2026. Tierra is located in a lovely spot beside a backwater and a short walk to Hejamadi beach, which connects (most times of year) to the blue-flag Padubidri beach. Room rates include a simple but tasty breakfast. The property has a lovely pool, badminton court, garden with fruit trees, kids' play area, and outdoor seating/dining with nice landscaping. The staff are very helpful, friendly, and did their best to give us a wonderful experience. I especially appreciate Uday, Hritik, and Arvind, our service staff who were attentive and prompt in addressing our needs and requests. A few issues we faced included poor hot water supply in the cottages, inadequate wifi connectivity, and no place to hang clothes within the rooms or dry swim clothes outside the rooms. Further, the rooms, while cute and cozy, lack natural light and ventilation. Small, relatively low-cost fixes would make the rooms much more convenient, comfortable, and value for money. Also, the walk to the beach is less than 10 minutes but the path is dirty and heavily littered with plastic and other garbage. It would be good if Tierra could work with

Had a pleasant experience at Tierra Resorts and Villas. The ambience was serene, surrounded by calm nature and well-maintained hygiene. The food was fresh, especially the seafood like fish and prawns, which stood out for its quality. The staff were polite and always ready to assist, even during odd hours, which added to the overall comfort. I appreciated the use of natural humidifiers to keep the space free from insects and mosquitoes, offering an organic and eco-friendly approach. The swimming pool seemed well-maintained with clean, fresh water, and it was refreshing to see minimal use of harsh chemicals. Private beach access was a nice touch, making the stay even more peaceful and enjoyable.

Highly recommend. We visited this place as a group of 5 on a weekday, and hence the whole place was practically just for us. They have a pool right in front of the A frame cabins. Just a 5 min walk leads to a semi private beach experience. Food was really good as well (pure veg as well as non veg). If we needed anything, we'd just text on WA and they'll reply promptly so we need not go to reception. The people helping were really sweet. Definitely pay them a visit for a serene experience.

I wanted to visit this place after reading the reviews. The place is very small but good landscape and rooms are comfortable. There is a functional clean pool and boat ride on the backwaters. Some short comings are the approach road , lack of mini fridge and TV in the room. Food is good but of Ltd choice. Wish they had a indoor restaurant. But for a quick getaway with family and friends it's a good place.

Location and ambiance wise this property is 10/10. Property has back water and near to beach . Food is tasty . Service is also very good, Akshay and team are very helpful and friendly. The only problem we faced was due to heavy rain. The owner has to fix practical problems of rainy season in bathroom and front door.
