We had opted for an AC deluxe room, for the rates they charged they are so pathetic that they don’t even give a complimentary water bottle. Along with that there is a minimum need to clean the room and reload the bed sheets and pillow covers if u stay for more than one day, this never happened in our stay even though we stayed there for 2 nights. They don’t even have the courtesy to take the coffee cups which we order. Overall it’s not value for money and pathetic customer service. Will never recommend this hotel for my friends and relatives.

The hotel is nice. Even the food is nice. Waiters are also nice only the front staff are ill mannered, zero hospitality, rude and arrogant. I frequently visit Davengere for my work. Atleast 4 days in a week but they are always so rude that i chose to stay on Hotel Sankamma which is way prettier, clean, and the hotel staff is also nice. Even a small hotel like Srigandha’s front staff is better than your front desk.

Yesterday i was about to check in at 3.30 am after telephonic booking from Bangalore. I just happen to ask what would be the check out time. The man at the reception replied, it would be 3.30 am in the morning..for which i requested if it can be 7am next morning and that i can pay extra for the 3 hours. To this the man answers it would be 2 days charge. I was trying to courteously negotiate on the price for staying just 3 hours extra, since midnight or early morning 3.30 am is not a reasonable time to check out. But this man at the reception rudely replies.. its going to be 2 days charge..thats it..take it or just leave. I then questioned him about his rude behaviour..for which he tells the watch man to put me out! What followed was an altercation..then i leave to find another place.

Just a upgraded lodge!! Very rude n unprofessional staff. I visit Davanagere on long stay basis for business purpose n unfortunately tried this hotel. Ambience decor 3 on 5 (bathrooms to b upgraded n lighted well), floor staff 3.5 on 5, housekeeping 1 on 5 (no refillings done, bathrooms horribly maintained n cleaned, very casual attitude), reception n security 1 on 5 (very rude n unprofessional staff always chit chatting in a group on counter, have to learn manner n etiquettes), breakfast not included, food tasted once 1 on 5 (pathetic to taste n very unhygienically served) need quick n strict improvement n change into a professional management
