Pictures are deceiving. As per December 2025, the rooms are very old, bathroom needs rework, room was smelly. The mattress was a local foam mattress which gave us back pain in the morning. No soundproof not even a bit. During crowded weekends, there is no peace inside rooms. Game room needs rework, no pool table as shown in pictures, No TV. Food was just decent. The riverside location was the only good thing. You can relax near the river during the early mornings and the evenings. Overall not worth the price. If they reduce the prices by half, then can consider.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The service is terrible and highly unprofessional. I tried booking the venue for an event and reached out using the contact number provided on their page. They initially agreed to share details about the menu and event decoration, but after that, I was left waiting for over a week with no response. My messages were simply seen and ignored, which is extremely frustrating. Their Instagram presence feels misleading, as it doesn’t reflect their actual level of customer service. It honestly makes you question whether the positive reviews are even genuine. It doesn’t even deserve single star review.

Location is good as u have direct access to river. But the rooms are disgusting, bad smell and beds are pathetic. Spend your money elsewhere .not worth it.

*MUST READ FOR EVERY TOURIST* ATMAVEDA is big scam resort, DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. Not knowing anything about this resort, I booked a day's stay at this scam resort. They asked for 100% advance which I paid. A few days later they themselves cancelled the reservation without stating any reason. The cancellation was done by a guy called Mahesh, he is the biggest fraud ever. I told Mahesh and everyone at the reception to give me a full refund for this inconvenience, they haven't given my money back yet. It has been more than 50 days since they cancelled the booking. Till date I might have callled them atleast 10 times beggin to resolve the situation. Everytime a new person picks up the calls and doesn't do anything to solve the problem. So basically they eat away your money for free and then don't refund you the money. At this point I am considering filing a complaint with the local police as this is the only option left.

Location and rooms were good , but the food was horrible and worst . We all got stomach issues after having their food in lunch , dinner and breakfast. The food which we ordered separately was also not good with no salt. I even got vomiting by having their food, and hence it spoiled our trip. So having good location is not enough, you need to provide hygiene and good food as well. Need a lot of improvement in food.

I usually don’t write long reviews, but I believe it’s important to share our experience for the benefit of future visitors and to hopefully encourage the property to take their responsibilities more seriously. We were a group of four women who stayed at Atma Veda for two days and one night. The property itself is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, nestled by the riverside with a calm ambiance. However, our experience unfortunately did not live up to the price or our expectations. We were charged around ₹17,000 for a single room for four people. While the room included all basic amenities, we faced recurring issues with electricity—the AC wasn’t working properly, and the fan wouldn’t switch on when needed. Still, we tried to make the best of it. The food was simple and basic—don’t expect anything fancy—but they did have some healthy options like salads. It was okay, nothing great. However, things took a serious turn the next morning. One of my friends got locked inside the washroom due to a faulty doorknob and was stuck for about 20–25 minutes without her phone while the rest of us were asleep. That was scary, but it got worse. Average place in terms of rooms and facilities, nothing like the pictures. Place is run down and while the staff is pleasant, the service is not good. Breakfast was bad, dinner was good but dishes were not served together and you had to wait for the things to fill in. We had booked for 2 nights but left within one night, right after breakfast. Even the coffee and tea was not drinkable. The location is beautiful by the river and the scenery was enjoyable but the overall facility being run down does not allow for a pleasant stay.

The location of the property is lovely, by the river, nice garden, quite, small. The service and staff was great. They were all very accommodating and took great care of us. They also were very swift in helping us out when we faced issues during our stay which was much appreciated and honestly made it a pleasant stay. However, The construction of the rooms is horrid. Sink taps were broken, our bed broke in the night (can happen, and the staff immediately moved us to another room), ants flooded the room from a hole in the floor, the bathroom doors barely closed, all the carpets were really stinky, tiles were coming out of the floor, and it looked like a shabby construction job that was not aesthetically pleasing. Had so much potential but a lack of investment in the interiors ruined it for me. Yet, had a lovely time sitting by the river listening to music, wetting our feet (could not stay more than 1 night however) and the food was also homely and service was prompt. Will probably not return nor suggest anybody to until a lot of the above problems have been fixed. I think the location and staff are doing the best they can with what they have.

Please do not go by the pictures and choose this property. For the price they charge, they don't provide the basic facilities!|My cousins and I visited this property on May 10th, 2024. |We were 9 of us and they charged us 4800 per person. They gave us only 3 rooms, 3 in 1 room. That means we were paying 14,400 per room. Each room had 1 queen bed and an extra bed which exactly looked like a hospital bed. The doors are sliding glass doors and we had a hard time to close a door, 2 people were needed to close the door and we tried to lock the door and it was a broken lock system. We had hard time keeping our things safe in the room. We couldn't close the bathroom and use it!!! AC's made lot of noise or didnt work!! it rained and the water drained inside our rooms. the room was mess after the rain. |And the food, what do you expect from 14k per room resort, a decent buffet! There was no one to serve or help us to open the food cover/ plate for us to serve ourselves. Everyone were struggling to hold the plate and also serve. They had very limited menu, roti was rubbery, idli, chutney or sambar had no salt/ so bland, jam had ants, daal, rasam was repeated for both the meals. |Only thing w

Not worth your money! The food was not good at all. Served maida chapathi. Same menu for lunch and dinner. Not much variety and quality was poor. Rooms were okay with doors being very hard to open and close. AC made a lot of noise. The staff were polite but that does not make up for the poor maintenance of the place. Only plus is the location which you can see in the river banks even outside the resort. There are better places out there for the money they charge.

During our visit to this property on May 10th, 2024, my cousins and I were left thoroughly disappointed. Despite the steep price of 4800 per person, the basic facilities were sorely lacking. With a total of nine of us, we were assigned only three rooms, accommodating three individuals each. This translated to a staggering 14,400 per room. To add to the dismay, each room was furnished with a single queen bed and an extra bed resembling that of a hospital cot. The sliding glass doors proved to be a nuisance, requiring the strength of two individuals to close, only to discover a faulty locking mechanism. Consequently, we faced challenges in ensuring the security of our belongings. The bathroom posed another issue as it failed to close properly, rendering it unusable. The malfunctioning AC units either emitted excessive noise or simply failed to function. To exacerbate matters, rainwater seeped into our rooms, leaving them in disarray post-downpour. Our culinary experience was equally disheartening, given the exorbitant room rate. The buffet, a staple of any reputable establishment, was notably absent. The stay is too expensive compared to what they show in the picture. They have a half constructed resort and a bare minimum curtain is also not present. They had to get the curtain fixed when people were sleeping in the room. Their service is pathetic and no in house restaurant for lunch/dinner.The only plus point is the river and nothing else. The whole resort and stay is a complete mess!! I would recommend hosting a camp/tent by yourself somewhere near the river bank than staying in this aweful resort. Remember “all that glitters is not gold”
