I recently stayed in a boys PG (paying guest accommodation), and overall it turned out to be a really good experience. I wanted to share a detailed review for anyone who is planning to stay in a PG for the first time. First of all, the biggest advantage of staying in a PG is convenience. Everything is usually arranged for you—food, cleaning, basic furniture—so you don’t have to worry about setting up a house from scratch. In my case, the room was well-maintained, with decent space, proper ventilation, and essential furniture like a bed, cupboard, and study table. One thing I appreciated a lot was the cleanliness. The housekeeping staff regularly cleaned the rooms and common areas, which made the stay comfortable and hygienic. Bathrooms were also cleaned frequently, which is very important in shared living spaces. Food is always a major concern in PGs, but here it was surprisingly good. The meals were simple, homely, and consistent. While it may not feel like restaurant-quality food every day, it was definitely healthy and filling.
