Absolutely irresponsible owner, 3 of us bikers were travelling to Hampi from Pune and we had booked the place well in advance thru booking.com...my friend spoke 1 day earlier of us reaching and confirmed...we reached 3.30pm and were told no rooms were available...after travelling 500 odd kms for hours we are told this despite booking well in advance...PATHETIC...we tried to call the owner Santhosh and he just wasn't receiving calls... another couple arrived and they too had booked still didn't get any room...he only has 5 rooms and nothing special at all...there are many other places like Rocky Meadows in the same area which are much better... Never ever go to this place guys... unprofessional owner!!! NOT RECOMMENDED

Hi, stay is in good location and owner is friendly. Food is average, only North Indian food style is provided. Food price is above the reasonable rate and they charged extra for hot water. Overall nice place to hangout with your friends.

This is a special place in Hampi, perfect to relax and rest. The bamboo huts are simple but cute and clean. The restaurant serves Indian, western and Israeli food, which is delicious and not spicy! Santosh the host was very helpful and attentive from our arrival to departure. Don't waste your time looking for something else, pick Shanti. Shanti shanti Santos!!

We had a 2 day stay at Om Shanti Homestay. Its a 2 km walk from the ferry boarding point which takes you to the main temple complex on the other side of the river. The owner Santosh is very helpful. The rooms and amenities are pretty normal its the service that rides the experience and drives the ratings.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The stay was good. Santosh was very helpful, and seemed to handle everything personally. The rooms are basic thatch huts, and suited for the price. Running hot water would have been great, but we could get some from a common tap. Can't comment more because we were out most of the time, and only went back to sleep. It was really budget friendly, and i did not have to pay a thing in advance. Wifi was there, but did not work.

It was a good place to stay, which is closer to many restaurants and tourist places. Reasonable price..... The owner, Mr. Santosh Rathod, is really a nice person. He helped us in our plan to visit Hampi in way that we saved lots of our time. He is resourceful. Food service was not there, except tea/coffee. But it was manageable as most of the was at walkable distance (less than 1/2km). Thanks Santos ...

Stayed here for a night with my husband and pet dog. I guess this is the only place with hippie vibes after river side shacks got shut down. Good food. Santosh is very friendly and gave good attention to all our request. Room are very basic and bed is a bit uncomfortable.
