Very bad experience at Aditya Tourist Home, Hampi. I paid an advance 2 days before arrival, but when we reached the hotel, the owner simply refused to give us a room saying the hotel was “full.” If the hotel was full, why was advance payment accepted? Instead of resolving the issue, we were casually told to check another hotel. No proper management, no responsibility, and no basic courtesy towards guests. This kind of treatment after taking advance money is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

My experience at this home stay was highly disappointing. We had a reservation with a 10 am check-in time, but the room wasn't ready until 7 pm. This delay caused significant inconvenience, especially since we were traveling with a baby. When we finally got access to the room, we were met with a series of issues: it was not cleaned, there were no towels or soaps provided, and the bed sheets and pillow covers had not been changed. Additionally, there was no one available to address these concerns or provide any necessary items. Overall, the lack of basic amenities and the poor handling of our check-in process made our stay very stressful. I would not recommend this home stay based on our experience.

The only positive about this accommodation is that it's close to Hampi. We had a horrible experience. With kids we had to wait for 7 hrs before we could get our bedsheets and room cleaned. During checkin someone gave us the key and left. For cleaning the room we had to call the owner multiple times with no or little response. We checked in around 12. At 7pm the owner arrived and after submitting "enough" proofs and discussions he agreed to change sheets and clean the rooms. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

This was a terrible experience. When we arrived, the rooms were neither ready nor clean. We had to constantly chase after the staff to have the rooms cleaned and get the sheets and towels changed. Both the owner and the staff were extremely unprofessional and irresponsible. Their primary concern seemed to be money, not customer satisfaction. They had numerous excuses and explanations for every issue we raised.

Owner is very rude. He cancelled our reservation at the last minute when we were half way through our journey to Hampi. And he was asking us to look for stay some 10kms away and claiming since we have car what is problem in travelling and giving philosophical talks like sometimes in life you have to make adjustments etc. Finally he said there is some another stay closeby but it had pathetic and substandard rooms and reviews. Extreme inhumane behaviour!

Worst service ever, Firstly I took a group of 16 people with me I called the hotel to confirm it the rooms are ready, the manager said the rooms are ready you can come, when we visited the hotel none of our rooms were ready, people didn't even checkout from the room, rooms were not at all clean, they were giving lame reasons that because of christmas this situation occurred, worst service ever, behaviour of the owner towards the customers was bad!! No hot water- When we called the owner for hot water, he was like the gyser is not working and we have sent a person to repair Room quality was absolutely worst, continuously sound of drainage was coming in the room Worstt experience and worst customer service ever, seriously not recommended! Please don't book the stays with aditya!!

I recently stayed for two nights at Aditya Tourist Home in Hampi, and overall it was a pleasant stay. The location was very convenient — only about 3 km from Virupaksha Temple — making it easy for us to visit the main attractions without long journeys. The room and washroom were both spacious, which made our stay comfortable. The presence of an on-site restaurant added to the convenience: after sightseeing, we appreciated having a cozy place nearby for dinner without worrying about finding food elsewhere. That said, there are a couple of areas where there’s scope for improvement. The geyser in our room had low capacity — it would be great if the hotel considers installing a more powerful gas geyser or a solar-powered heater so guests can enjoy adequate hot water. Also, while the rooms seemed quite new, the cleanliness could be improved — especially if the property gets older, regular thorough upkeep will help maintain good hygiene. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at Aditya Tourist Home. The combination of good location, roomy accommodation and the convenience of a restaurant makes it a good option for travellers visiting Hampi.
