“Worst experience, denied check-in. Why would I cancel if there is no refund. It was by mistake. But they denied me check-in, partial or full refund and filled room with another guests. Basically looted me for the price paid. If you have basic kindness, you should have done partial or full refund. Not recommend..”

“Rating: 1/5 (I would give -1 if possible) Stay Dates: Jan 1st – Jan 3rd I recently stayed at Clarks Inn, and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I strongly advise travelers to avoid this property. Despite the high price tag, the service and hygiene are abysmal. Here is why: 1. Unprofessional Reception & Check-in The check-in process was a joke. Usually, a receptionist guides you, but here, I had to interrogate them for basic information like Wi-Fi passwords, meal timings, and where breakfast was served. It felt like an old, primitive lodge where the staff is only there to collect signatures, not to assist guests. 2. Poor Room Amenities & Hygiene Missing Essentials: For a high-priced room, basic amenities like dental kits and tissue papers were missing. They only provide them if you explicitly ask; otherwise, they don't care. Terrible Housekeeping: "Cleaning" here simply means making the bed. I left my room for cleaning in the morning, only to return to a filthy floor and the same old, stained bedsheets. Stained Linens: The pillows and bedsheets were covered in visible stains. They won't change them unless you demand it. 3. Disastrous Dining Experience Food”

“A recent family trip to Clarks Inn-Hampi was a truly horrific and utterly misleading experience. The only pleasant thing about our stay was the hotel's convenient location for exploring the sites of Hampi. Everything else, from the deplorable conditions to the deceptive advertising, was a complete failure and a waste of our money. The promotional photos on the hotel's website must be around 8-10 years old. The reality of the property is nowhere close to what is shown. The hotel is run-down, poorly maintained, and falsely advertised. This misleading imagery severely raises expectations for a quality of stay that the hotel is completely incapable of delivering. The most shocking and inexcusable discovery was the severe lack of maintenance and hygiene in the rooms. In rooms 305 and 306, we found continuous and long-term water leakage from the air conditioning units. This leakage had led to the growth of mushrooms from the water-damaged areas. This is a severe biological hazard and is completely unacceptable in any guest accommodation. On top of this, the additional beds requested for our children were in a deplorable condition. They were covered in stains, and the mattresses were so ”

Sasi Sasi★★★★★Clarks Inn Hampi is a total rip-off. At ₹4000 per night, you’d expect at least clean rooms and basic service — instead, you get the opposite. Linen is dirty, rooms are shabby, and the bathroom is worse than what you’d find in a tier-3 village lodge. The room phone doesn’t work, service is painfully slow, and the front office staff are utterly clueless. For this kind of money, it feels like a scam. Save yourself the frustration — there are far better places in Hampi

Shaku Rao★★★★★Absolutely an average hotel. I had to call the reception for basic things like hand towels, toilet tissue etc. They weren’t stored in the bathroom. Staff was friendly!

travelib★★★★★Beware, this hotel is almost impossible to book - almost as if it is closed. It doesn't reply to emails, neither does head office and the online booking site shows it is permanently booked with no vacancies. Suck poor communication does suggest very inept management

Dr Prakash Raje★★★★★An average property with average amenities. Looks can be deceptive. Poorly appointed. The fittings and furnishings are giving way, especially the bathroom fittings barely operate properly. There is continuous leakage in the bathroom. You never know when the water will run out. Door knobs and locks are also giving way. Food is just average. Tea bags and other sachets are always in short supply. You have to keep on asking and reminding for them. Front office staff was co operative and efficient. Hotel does not have parking of its own and vehicles are parked outside. Only plus point - centrally located. Ideal for group tours only and not for individual tourists. Very highly priced. Show less Date of stay: February 2025 Room Tip: Stay only if you are not too discerning and don't bother for better services or quality. Trip type: Travelled with family

Niketh Vaddala★★★★★Kindly replace the manager Prakash Srivastav. One of the most worst receiving I have got from him. All he does is fake stuff and finally cause discomfort to you. At this price we expect better managers and better receiving. Everything in the hotel is good but this person Srivastav completely spoils the stay . I recommend staying in local hotel than this hotel so you can save the money and get the better experience of the stay.

Roshni C★★★★★The AC was not working in the suite rooms which we had booked. They changed the room in which also the AC was not working... Finally we had to move to a deluxe room which was very small and was not sufficient for our family. The service in the restaurant is also very poor. They where not intrested in serving food for dinner ... We wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. Pls don't book in this hotel...

Arkos Jo★★★★★The room is below average, shower is extremely slippery. But the worst is the restaurant. Where should I start? 95% of their displayed menu is actually not available. Waiters seems to be lost, and when you order anything it is taking ages to come... for a poor result. And the worst of the worst is when you raise up the problem to the manager, he is giving excuses. Sir, I do not need your excuse about the low-season or whatever. I need you to act and give the service we paid for. The only good point is the emplacement of the building really close from any of Hampi's monuments.

Dr.Shibil Valappil★★★★★We give this bad rating bcoz, reception staffs are very arrogant and rude, not very polite welcoming services. Rooms and pool are good! But no lift which makes it difficult to climb the stairs repeatedly. Quantity of food is very less, very poor breakfast varieties. Only south indian dishes were available for complimentary breakfast. Very bad shower system in bathroom. No privacy near swimming pool because of staffs kept peeping in. Staffs were partial towards foreigners, they were completely ignoring Indian families. We won't recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Kadambari Chawre★★★★★We stopped here for lunch. While the service is very prompt, the food is below average. The dining area smelled like old socks and the tables were rather dirty. The hotel has done nothing about the restaurant's upkeep. Absolutely disappointed with the cleanliness. The washrooms too were dirty and didn't seem like they were cleaned the whole week.

JC★★★★★A horrible place to stay. Cockroach in chicken biriyani show the hygiene of this place. No escalators in this one floor property and it is not helpful to the physically challenged or old age sick people as you will have to climb the staircase. Over and above this I had a bad experience of my credit card getting charged extra other than what was shown in online booking. Excuse from staff was that it maybe "convenience" fee charged. At no time the hotel manager was ready to address the issues but avoided talking to us. Very bad experience.

Sanket Khopkar★★★★★Title: Disappointing Stay at Clarks Inn, Hampi ⭐️ Rating: 1/5 Our recent stay at Clarks Inn in Hampi left us thoroughly dissatisfied, with several issues that significantly impacted our experience: Uncoperative Staff: The hotel staff proved to be extremely uncooperative, especially the manager who was unresponsive to our queries about local attractions, displaying a noticeable bias towards foreign visitors. Restaurant Woes: The hotel restaurant's operational hours were inconvenient, starting from 7.30 PM. Despite an elaborate options on menu card, only Chinese food was available for dinner, and the taste fell far below expectations. TV Connection Neglect: Despite reporting issues with our TV connection, no one from the hotel staff attended to our concerns, leaving us without a proper entertainment option during our stay. Poor Room Maintenance: The overall condition of the rooms was disappointing, with poor maintenance evident throughout. This detracted from the comfort and quality we anticipated from our accommodation. Our stay at Clarks Inn, Hampi, was marked by a lack of cooperation, subpar dining experiences, unaddressed concerns, and poorly maintained rooms. We hope this
