“I would NOT recommend this resort for any celebrations even to my worst enemy. Let me narrate the terrible experience I had recently. I decided to travel down from Bengaluru to this resort for my wife’s birthday. I had booked a room and paid for table decorations well in advance and got a confirmation from the reservations team. Even after arriving, I confirmed the decoration details twice for which I was assured that everything is set and I need not worry. I even saw the decorated table in the lawn in the evening. Everything seemed well and I was quite happy. I got the surprise of my life when we arrived the restaurant at around 8 PM, all dressed up and walked towards the table. The hotel manager asked me to wait and let someone else occupy that table in front of me. Imagine the embarrassment my family faced in front of all the guests. I asked the reservation team, reception, hotel manager and they just started making random phone calls to fake that they are checking the issue. From one of them, I even got me the suggestion to celebrate the birthday the next day. So much for professionalism. They had clearly taken money from that other party based on a higher bid and given them ”

“I was quite disappointed with my stay here, especially considering the price point. The “lake view” rooms are priced at a premium, but the reality is far from what’s advertised. It’s not a lake but a small pond that the balcony overlooks, which feels misleading. Also, if you leave the balcony door open, be prepared for a mosquito invasion. The in-room “smart TV” is essentially useless as it doesn’t connect to the property’s WiFi. The washroom clearly needs maintenance, and both the bed and sofa were dusty, it honestly felt like the room hadn’t been cleaned properly in weeks. What stood out the most, though, was the lack of professionalism from the staff. Communication during check-in was unclear, and overall courtesy was missing. During checkout, I received multiple reminder calls—which is understandable—but when I requested 10–15 minutes as I was mid-way through getting ready, there was little flexibility or understanding. This was especially frustrating given that the resort didn’t seem fully occupied. For ₹13,000 a night, this stay felt like a complete waste. I expected much better in terms of both service and upkeep.”

“Went there with wife to celebrate Valentine's Day 2026. I had the single worst VD experience ever. Everyone from the parking security all the way down to the servers were either incompetent or rude or both. The food order was taken down incorrectly by the staff. They made us wait half an hour and sent only the soup, and then sent the wrong mojitos. At first I thought only we were being treated like this, but literally every table's guests were seething with anger at the non-service. Only half of the items we ordered came, and it came in COLD. Finally I had had enough of their neglience and left the place, paying only for the items we had received. For this they made us wait 30 to 40 minutes and pushed us to the breaking point. The other tables weren't so lucky. They kept asking and asking and losing their patience and then having anger outbursts at the staff, but still did not receive their food. We were fortunate enough to get out of there while we could. If the management is not capable of handling a high-volume day like Valentine's, they should not deceive and defraud the public with their incompetent services. For this type of horrendous service, they charge exorbitant pric”

The only good thing about the resort is the lake and the cleaning staff. Poor management and worst response time for any query. Please don't waste your money here.

While we were checking out the staff in the reception they made us wait and they showed us the picture of a towel which had some stain … UNBELIEVABLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL !!! And when I asked them that for a towel, they made us wait, which can be easily cleaned , they didn’t have the answer … we also told them what about the air conditioner not working , toilet flush not working … the manager had no answer infanct the manager apologised and said that next time he will give me discount … HOW UNPROFESSIONAL ….. this was our second visit to silent shores and we brought out guests from US so that they would have a nice experience .. but this experience really left us with a bad taste… my guests were also amazed that which hotel staff asks these things ? … had never expected this from such a nice property … I will never recommend this property to anyone

While the location and surroundings are undeniably beautiful, the service and attitude of the reception staff were shockingly poor. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a complete lack of basic courtesy. The security guard at the gate came running toward us and insisted that we leave, without even asking the purpose of our visit. Only after we explained that we had a confirmed booking did he reluctantly allow us to enter. The experience deteriorated further at reception. As we had traveled from another destination, we arrived slightly early due to work commitments. Instead of offering assistance or even a place to wait, the staff curtly instructed us to leave and return at check-in time. There was no attempt at understanding, no politeness, and no sense of hospitality whatsoever. Both the check-in and check-out processes were handled with complete indifference and a lack of professionalism. Abin Paul★★★★★I had previously enjoyed my stay at Silent Shores, so I booked 5 rooms to celebrate my wedding anniversary with friends and family. Unfortunately, this time was a complete disaster. First issue: key card didn’t work. When reported, we were asked to wait 20 minutes. I had to walk all the way to reception to get it sorted. Basic issues like this should be fixed promptly, not left to the guest to chase. We requested a table for 12 in the open area for our anniversary dinner. The manager told us that they currently don’t have the energy to arrange as they are short of staff. I've seen them telling the same to many other guests. We finally got a table after I told him that I had requested this at the time of booking itself. Adding to the frustration, the wedding anniversary cake we ordered had a stupid typo. Starters were served but plates came only after multiple reminders. Candle lamps were also brought only after asking again and again. The main course took nearly an hour to arrive. One of our rooms had no partition between the shower and toilet area. The entire washroom would get wet and slippery after a bath. P K★★★★★Our recent dinner at Silent Shore Resort was unfortunately a letdown. The food quality was underwhelming, and the service left much to be desired. The food itself was not up to par. The flavors were bland, and the overall quality was simply not worth the price. Starters were served before the soup, which disrupted the natural flow of the meal. The food seemed to be dumped onto plates rather than presented with care. Excessive noise from the kitchen, including chefs shouting orders, created an unpleasant dining atmosphere. The pasta in particular was described as "crap," indicating a significant issue with a key dish. Based on this experience, we cannot recommend Silent Shore Resort for a fine dining experience.

Nobody to guide you to the parking area. Unfriendly staff. Rooms are not clean. Phone doesn’t work. And the worst part,Construction work goes on and on right next to the wall. Basically you pay money to have a headache. Worst ever response from the house keeping. Do not visit. There are better places. Trust me, this place is a disaster.

fathima sam★★★★★"HORRIBLE SERVICE" We have visited Silent Shores multiple times and post corona we haven't really visited this resort. we wanted to recreate the memory for our kids who used to love that place and booked 3 rooms and went with our friends. Upon arrival they guided us to the room. The calling bells weren't working, the toilet flush was continuously leaking and so many mosquitoes that we couldn't step out at all. I understand the property is surrounded with waterbodies but the maintenance has gone to dogs. We went to Ambrosia to have lunch and we ordered good which took more than 45 minutes for them to serve and we had to literally ask them to serve every time as they would just stand like key dolls. We put up with all this and still wanted to make our day good by enjoying and bothering about all this. During checkout was the worst experience we had. My friend Nitin waited for 10 minutes for them to give the clearance to the rooms and the housekeeping said that there was no problem and we could go to the reception to pay the final bill, they also collected our luggage in the buggy and dropped it off at the parking.
