The stay at Treebo Arabica Valley – Coffee Plantation Retreat was extremely disappointing. Around 9 PM, a large group of the reception staff’s friends (more than 10 people) gathered in the bonfire area. They were shouting, playing cricket, playing loud music, and behaving in a very unruly manner. We were staying with a 2-year-old child and three ladies, and the environment became highly uncomfortable and unsafe. Some of the people were even shirtless, which made the situation worse. Due to this disturbance, we had to cancel our bonfire plan and were forced to stay inside our room. There was no control or intervention from the hotel management. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable at a family-friendly resort. Overall, it was a horrible experience, and we would not recommend this property to families.

One of the worst stay in Chikmagalur.. Rooms aren't clean and service is pathetic.. And you can't remove keys from the door locks which is a concern of luggage safety.. You need to ask them for even water kettle, water glass etc... No toiletries probided and rooms are having bad smell eith fungus grown all over the bed. My honest opinion, don't book this stay by considering the name of Treebo.. This is the worst stay..

No amenities in room, dirty towel and floor, gyser not working, and cherry on top, asked to vacant in the middle of stay or pay higher than agreed amount as they got a booking at higher price. Breakfast was bad and idli from yesterday was served. Very very disappointed.

We have stayed here for one day. Unfortunately, around 80% of the time there was no electricity. There is no facility for tea or coffee as they don’t have a kitchen. We had to ask multiple times for basic items like towels, soaps, and water but hotel team failed to provide. treebo displaying board to provide shaving kit, soap, hand wash but they failed to provide. The rooms are good, and the location is easily accessible to all main location and convenient. However, the lack of essential facilities made the stay uncomfortable, I red the same feedback from others as well in gorgeous review. I request Treebo team and hotel team to arrange basic facilities to stay comfortable in hotel. A Staff and Vinay hotel manager is irresponsible person and not addressing customer issues. A place where you would stay for one whole day won't even serve regular water, toiletries, AC, TV remote, Wi-Fi, Tea, coffee, etc. when all of this was included in the package. But there were insects and lizards in the room. Not a family friendly hotel, may be good for those who can carry even their own water.

⭐⭐☆☆☆ 2/5 I recently stayed at Treebo Arabica Valley, Chikmagalur, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The room facilities were not maintained properly. The geyser was inadequate and did not provide a satisfactory hot water experience. There were frequent power-related issues during the stay. The TV and AC were also not functioning properly, which affected the overall comfort. The pillows had an unpleasant smell, indicating poor housekeeping standards. One of the advertised attractions, the campfire, was not available during our stay. The breakfast experience was equally disappointing. Although breakfast was included in the booking, by the time we arrived, most of the food had already finished, and we were unable to get the breakfast we expected. The options were extremely limited, consisting mainly of idli and vegetable pulao. Overall, the property did not meet the expectations set by its listing. Basic amenities, cleanliness, and food service need significant improvement. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this property to families looking for a comfortable stay in Chikmagalur.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at this Treebo property. The overall management and basic hospitality standards were far below expectations. The bedsheet provided was dirty and had visible stains. It was only replaced after repeated requests, which itself was frustrating. Several basic amenities were either not available or not functional — there was no WiFi, the TV wasn’t working, and even the charging sockets in the room were not functioning properly. To add to this, there was no provision for basic essentials like drinking water, soap, shampoo, or a dental kit. The tea cups and electric kettle provided in the room were also unclean, raising concerns about hygiene. The complimentary breakfast was another letdown. It was limited to just tea — coffee wasn’t even available, which is quite surprising for a hotel stay. What made the experience worse was the staff’s attitude. Instead of addressing concerns responsibly, they kept blaming vendors for supply shortages rather than acknowledging the mismanagement. Overall, the property is poorly managed, and I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

They have their own food menu, but the taste is below average and the food service is also very poor. If you order food, you have to wait at least two hours. The reason they gave was a gas issue. They use gas as fuel for the heater and rotate the gas cylinder supply between rooms daily. If your room has gas today, you won’t have it the next day until the cycle is completed. The property is very good with nice location. But the management was terrible. We paid extra for breakfast buffet. But we were told, cook is not available. So they bought breakfast from nearby hotel and gave, which had only two items, that too very poorly made. Also we had to keep on asking for basic amenities like drinking water, toileteries. They didn't provide bottled water for 2 days. When asked for towels and other amenities they said, it's not provided yet by treebo. Overall the management was horrible. However, the reception person was very understanding and tried to do his best and he is not the one to blame. The owners and treebo need to do better.
