Managers are not nice, you could even call them crooks.||We arrived tonight after making a reservation for a good room with a toilet and shower.||They threw us in a room that smelled of dirty urine, the landlord was rude when we complained.||In protest, we left in the morning and they refused to refund the money for the days we weren't there.

Wonderful remote location nestled inside banana and sugarcane farms. The place is 3.5 km inside from the main road. Very quiet, very pristine, serene place, not very commercial. Come here to detox yourself from the city life. The only noise you will hear is birds chirping and the canal water flow which goes next to the property. Very welcoming owner as well as their staff. Decent food options. The price for the rooms was also moderate. Hot water was on throughout which was great. Rooms are big enough for a family of 4. Right now they have only 4 rooms but are expanding the property to add a couple more rooms. Extremely relaxing place and not far from all the hampi monuments. Come here to experience the true nature. The phone network is on and off which is expected.

A little more care should be taken in the dining area for cleanliness and tidiness. Service was great. The bathroom fittings need to be attended to. The approach to this location certainly needs improvement. Fan regulators need attention. On the whole a very satisfying experience.

The hosts were very caring, nice and always willing to share local knowledge of the area. The location was perfect for us...set within banana, mango and sugar cane plantations and only a short 10 minute drive from Hampi. We really enjoyed the home cooked and fresh meals whilst admiring the animals that roamed the plantations! This would have been a 5/5 if not for the extremely hot rooms. Although a built in fan was available, during the hot months, AC would be appreciated! Thanks for the stay and I recommend!

Arrived at night so didn't see the real beauty of the place until the morning. Gopi took us to higher ground to see the full scope of the plantation at 6am in the morning and it was breathtaking to see the mango and banana trees with the sunrise. There are some minor adjustments which would make the place heavenly. Special veg food was provided from home which was tasty. I can wait to see what Gopi does next.

Not luxury, but amazing homestay, great view and less than 10m by car to center of Hampi. Food is great but wifi is very slow. This is real India, don't expect 5 star hotel. Staff very friendly and welcoming. You are in the middle of a banana and sugarcane plantation. It is laid back.

It's one of the most offbeat and pleasant location in Hampi and very close to nature - boulders, water streams, paddy fields, etc. Good service and reasonable level (do not expect 5 star luxury) of facilities are available (hot water, bed, chairs etc) with good home made food. Go for it if you want to have a cool stay cut off from the outside world.

Beautiful location. Close to all the monuments. The service was fantastic. Gopi the owner of the homestay was very helpful and pleasant. The tourist guide available on site is very pricy . We had a lovely stay here and would like to visit again in cooler climes . It was very hot and humid when we visited Hampi !

It's a perfect sneak out for some one who's looking for quiet, peaceful & secluded place. Surrounded by banana fields & boulders makes it a perfect place for nature lover. Neat & spacious rooms with good electricity & amenities in place. They also have a common place to hang out with bonfire in evening. The home cooked food just adds wonders to the ambience. But no pasta, pizzas will be available.. Not to miss a sunrise with tea on the rocks just five minutes walk from the property. Gopi is a very kind & modest guy. Best part was a surprise cake & cozy party organised by him & his brother Kiran when they knew about our wedding anniversary. However, it's away 5 km away from the city & reaching there could cost u extra 200 bucks. But it's a must visit place only for those who are not just party poopers & respect nature.

The good thing is the owner and other people are very polite and helpful.. homestay is amongst rich greenery adjacent to canal from river Tungabhadra.. the rooms are quite sizeable and clean and tidy.. the owner says snakes and crocodiles are not around.. though we found none during a very brief stay but monkeys are around thanks to the greenery.. food served is decent.. the access road is 4km mud road

If you want some place to relax..Away from the crowded city..In between the nature, then you must stay at Gopi Plantation.. Basic home stay..But the owner Gopi is a very nice person..Will help you by giving you all the information about Hampi..Also the staff is polite and helpful.. Situated right in between the farms..With monkeys around.. Beautiful nature.. About the food..No Pizza..No Pasta..No burgers..But the food is tasty..As per requirement they prepare veg and non veg food..The good thing is that you can bring your own bottle and have a drink here..Also smoking is allowed..On request camp fire is arranged.. Most of the tourist places in Vijaynagara are near to Gopi Plantation..The owner Gopi can arrange Auto Rickshaw for you.. Rooms 4/5 Wash Room 5/5 Location 5/5 Food 5/5 Staff 5/5
