“I’m a frequent traveler to Mysuru, and every time we visited Brindavan Garden, we dreamed of staying at Royal Orchid. This time, we finally booked it. Since we were traveling with an infant, we first stayed at JP Fortune Palace Mysuru to avoid a long journey, and that experience was excellent. Our stay at Royal Orchid started on a positive note with a warm welcome from the staff, but things quickly became disappointing. The waiting area had no cooler or fan, which was very uncomfortable in the peak April heat. The room was spacious but felt average overall. The bed was oddly placed in the center, and although there was a large balcony, we were warned about monkeys, making it difficult to use—especially with a small child. As we moved around the property, we noticed garbage in the corridor, which was quite off-putting. The shower setup was inconvenient, requiring us to stand inside the bathtub. Even the TV remote had almost dead batteries—we had to tap it repeatedly to make it work. Within a few hours, it felt like the hotel charges a premium but doesn’t deliver matching service. Common areas had visible dust, and even in the Garden Café, upkeep was lacking. We noticed spider webs a”

Akanksha Bharadwaj★★★★★Booked this hotel based on the promise of bar-area restaurant service, but the reality was completely different. We were made to wait for nearly an hour and then told there was no service available. This is misleading and unacceptable. If services are not operational, it should be clearly stated at the time of booking. Wasted time and a disappointing experience.

Yash Agarwal★★★★★Best spot to soak in the beauty of Brindavan Gardens — and it's absolutely free! The Elephant Bar at this property offers what is arguably the finest view of the gardens. And the best part? You don’t need to spend a rupee. Just walk in, grab a seat, and enjoy the view — because chances are, no one will even acknowledge your presence. You could sit there for 30-40 minutes, and not a single staff member will offer you a menu, water, or even eye contact. It’s like becoming invisible — but with a view! So if you're looking for a quiet, uninterrupted (and unserved) moment with nature, this might just be the most scenic free lounge.

Keerthan ramesh★★★★★I had been here for lunch and my experience was pretty bad. I had ordered golden fried prawns and the prawns I received weren't cleaned properly and the gut was still attached. When I spoke to the waiter, he got me regular chilli prawns as a replacement. When I got the bill, I was charged for the more expensive golden prawns and not the cheaper item. When asked why, the waiter didn't have anything to say.Other than this, the place isn't that great but the view is the only thing that's worth it.

Prakhar★★★★★The hotel has a restaurant named CK. The food is absolutely hideous. A normal tandoori roti costs 120₹. A bowl yell dal is priced at 400₹.. The quality is nothing to write home about. It’s just eatable . And the gst is not 5% but 18%. In top of it, they charge 10% service charge too!!! The menu they have on easy diner app is fake and the actual price is double or more than double. Beware if booking your dinner after light show.

Abilash ES★★★★★Humbleeee request!! Pls stay away from this property! In the name of * hotels they loot you! I accept this is a heritage property, if so then just stay calm and preserve it! No need to pull in guests! I randomly had to book this hotel in the late evening and had to stay back due to some impromptu. Full of bats in the lobby and my room balcony looks like something I have attached in pictures

Prajwala Y★★★★★Disappointment to the highest order . We entered with a call made beforehand to see the sunset from the garden restaurant wanting to move to elephant bar after sunset . 1. The reception lady refused to Give us any information or time . Inspite of me repeatedly asking her leading questions she seemed disinterested in talking to me but was later sweet when her manager was standing in front of , shows the quality of training . 2. We ordered food at 6.24 pm and waited till 7.35 for fries and coffee .. our pizza did not arrive till 8 and when asked they said they ran out of batter and forgot to inform us . It was a joke to say the least . Cold Coffee was probably the worst thing to have entered my mouth in 32 years of existence .it was warm and tasteless 3. the waiters were rude and frustrated when it started getting crowded 4. The bar that receptionist told me was closed was open and I saw guests enjoying in the roof top . So failure to give information lost them business . 5. A toddler peed on the floor , staff noticed and failed to clean it .. for 30 mins everyone was stepping over it and walked across the place . Judge for yourself WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN . Establishments like this s
