I had booked a tent stay here on June 29th this year. The stay is in a very good location filled with greenery but the service is the worst one can get. The receptionist was extremely irresponsible to leave us all alone midnight during heavy rain with no one to help even when the tent had tore because of the heavy rain. No response to calls, no backup for such unforseen rains. We understand that such rain is unexpected but no one to look after the stay at night is unacceptable. We didn't expect luxury stay in return rather it was just another rain cover for the tent to protect our belongings. No food available, no proper response. Please do not book this stay if you're expecting a generic hostel vibe or a peaceful stay. Extremely disappointed

I don't know how it got so many good reviews. My experience with them is not great at all. There were few concerns for me 1. Pillows given have mould under the covers. Tents were also looked dirty from outside 2. Alcoholics have been a nuisance where they would shout and interfere in the conversations. There will not be genuine conversations happening at the bonfire where such nuisance has to be tolerated. Management will not interfere with any of this. There were girls who didn't feel comfortable and left the bonfire. Good things are 1. Met with few really interesting people for which management will not get any credit. 2. Staff members were kind enough 3. There are dogs, cat and horse that you can hang around. If you love to have peaceful, mindful and meaningful bonfire conversations please stay away from this place

We booked a tent, which was shabby from inside in all forms. Had not been cleaned. Even if they don't clean it from indside, atleast they should keep some form of mat/carpet which could be cleaned once in a while. The washrooms were in pathetic condition, with no toilet papers. The tents do not have any source of light at night as well. The blankets given to us were not at all enough to survive through the night, they should be throughoutful of the fact that it is a tent and it gets quite cold at night.

Ideally trippr Chikmagalur should not take any bookings because there is a large pub that construction is happening in front of the gate. Property is not at all or poorly maintained. We took a wooden cottage. And I went with the two small children' we saw a spider web and rooches and terminates everywhere I had to put a cotton inside our children's ear so that they should not enters while they sleeping. If you are thinking at least we can do a horse ride there are two horses which are about 4 years old both of them have been got hurt . Only you can see them you cannot even ride them as they were limping.

Moldy rooms, unethical staff, fake reviews. The tent was smelly and full of mold. We booked tents and after looking at the stay we decided to not check in and asked for refund. They asked us to raise the issue with mmt for the refund as we hadn't checked in. One hour after we left, they did our fake check in and told MakeMyTrip that we had checked in. Blatant liars. Don't book here unless and until you like smelly room and like living in between mold.

I strongly recommend against visiting this hotel. The rooms lack cleanliness and are much smaller than shown in the pictures. Staff are unresponsive.They don't have proper backup power . No hot water at all during 2 days stay. Avoid this place if you’re looking for a comfortable stay. I would suggest zero rating for this hotel, but there is no option for a zero. So I gave one star.

Unfortunately, I found the washroom to be in a less-than-ideal condition and also rooms and beds were smaller than as shown in pictures. The washroom was not clean, and there was an unpleasant odor. Expected a much cleaner and comfortable stay for the price we paid for.

I had a terrible experience at this homestay. When we arrived, the room was filthy—completely different from what we expected. It was clear that no proper cleaning had been done. To make matters worse, the receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful when we raised our concerns. We were a group of four, and the way we were treated made our stay very uncomfortable. I am really not sure how this place is rated so high on reviews. Trusted the review and we booked a wooden cottage. Once we entered the cottage room 101 which was given to us , the room was very smelly, the restrooms were not clean ( basins were dirty also was the buckets and mugs ) restroom water was socked in the wood and we get urinal smell all over the place. We requested for a change of room they asked use to check 102 that also we found was similar. One cannot close the restroom door as well. Adding to this the towels provided were not fresh nor were the bed spreads. This was the worst room I have ever stayed in my life and i wouldn't suggest this place for a family. Only bachelors who want an affordable stay and drink would be okay to opt this place. Understand the rooms are provided at an affortable price , but the expectation is very basic to provide a clean and hygienic room to the guests.

I have no idea how this place has such great reviews. Having faith in the review, we reserved a wooden cottage. We were assigned a cottage room which was really stinky when we first arrived. The bathrooms were filthy, with buckets and mugs and sinks covered in mud, and there was a strong odor from urinals throughout the entire space. I have never been in a worse room in my life, and I wouldn't recommend this establishment.However, the expectation is pretty simple: give the guests a clean, hygienic room.
