“very bad staff and rowdy staff especially if you forget to remind them of the deposit amount when you are vacating then the deposit amount is gone.. rooms not cleaned properly with lots of hairs in the bathroom, room floor sticky with phenyl smell. nice large rooms, but you can find all kinds of spots on the white bedspread. food in thier veg hotel closes at 8.00 p.m so be sure to have food before 8.00 very bad as they serve what is leftover from afternoons meals. recently opened up an bar conter with non veg section which is over pricey, be aware of the fake reviews they sponsor on web”

“Had Breakfast in the morning. Served chutney cups which was left out in other table. It was used and splitted everywhere in plate. Poori pieces were lying. Roasted the staff. Worst service in lifetime. They have manager to monitor and to organise this...”

“Alert 📢 No heat water and telephone not working No service of food Towels are not clean and it was damaged pieces Blankets was damaged by cigarette and used blankets even they don't change any bed sheets Bar and restaurant hotel was to high price to eat and they will apply GST for all items very shameful of them🤮🤢 Room clean is not good and bathroom was very samlly 🤢 We have stayed 3 days but they don't take any action for this problems 😤 Hotel managements was not suitable for that hotel because they are very irresponsibility and disrespectful they didn't raised any complaint to hotel owner After that owner will said management was not said any complaints about you I don't know there Last words........ Please don't go anyone to face this problems The worst hotel in the Shimoga ☠️📢”

“The watchman and reception staff exhibited terrible behavior at this establishment, tainting the otherwise fine experience. Their abhorrent manners were profoundly disappointing. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for basic human courtesy was shockingly offensive. These individuals are the initial contact point for visitors, yet their impolite attitude paints a horrendously bleak picture of the business. This crucial customer-facing role requires tact and courteousness, which they significantly lacked. Such conduct is absolutely unpardonable and necessitates immediate rectification.”

You complain to reception, they are also not bothered to look into it. I booked 2 rooms. Called rooms service restaurant to order food. Called 4 times, didn't came to take order. Complained to reception, no action taken. From 9pm to 10pm 8 calls happened. But no respect to customer to give good. Finally had to order from swiggy. Never stay here. Giving 3 star for room quality and price. Forget to mention, asked to give a bottle water, called 3 times, it didn't came. Had to go directly to restaurant and buy. The rooms service person saying waiter on way. But never came. Nonsense.

Furthermore, the lights in the room flickered, giving off a disco-like effect, which was not ideal. In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Ashoka Grand was marred by several issues. Despite the hotel's attractive facade, the room conditions were subpar. The lack of hot water, malfunctioning bathroom door, and erratic lighting detracted from the overall experience. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to enhance the comfort and satisfaction of future guests.
